Harry stared intently at his reflection in the mirror as he looped his tie and pulled it tight, letting out a relieved breath once the dark blue silk material was situated around his neck just right. It was on his third try that his fumbling hands finally managed to pull it off.

He never liked wearing traditional ties, but instead preferred his shirt unbuttoned halfway down his torso. It was breezier that way. He honestly wasn't sure why he suddenly decided to wear a tie to Quinn's wedding, but figured he'd proudly sport the accessory, wanting to look his very best for the occasion.

Tucking the material of his light blue button down shirt into his white suit trousers, he studied his appearance with intensely furrowed brows as he pulled his arms through the matching white suit jacket and settled it on his shoulders. For some reason he needed it all to be perfect when normally he couldn't care less at a non-work related event like this.

But by the way his palms were sweaty and his heart continuously beat at a heightened pace, it was no secret that being in the same place as Franki was making him a nervous wreck. And no matter how anxious he felt, he truly couldn't wait to be around her again.

He was pulling a hand through his perfectly coiffed hair when outside in the hallway he heard the faint sound of a door closing followed by a muffled voice shouting, 'No! No, no, no, no. Shit!'.

His curiosity carried him over to the door to peer through the peephole. And through the distorted fisheye view, he saw what appeared to be Franki aggressively jiggling the handle of the door on the other side of the hall.

A smile spread across his face - it was as if the universe knew exactly what he was yearning for.

With his heart beating hard against his chest, Harry adjusted his suit jacket and took a deep breath in before pulling open his door.

The sudden, startling noise of the loud clunk when it unlocked and opened made Franki jump and instantly whip her body toward the noise right as Harry poked his head out.

"Jesus christ!" She exhaled sharply, placing her hand over her chest when she realized who it was. "Harry! You surprised me."

His mouth parted and his eyes grew wide, but not from her stunned reaction to the door opening. He wanted to apologize for startling her or even simply greet her with a hello, but when he saw her standing in front of him fully dressed in her wedding attire, he didn't have a fighting chance to say anything.

She was wearing a navy blue midi-length silk dress that fell over her figure perfectly, exposing the expanse of her back and hanging from her shoulders like art. Not even a resemblance of a sentence came together in his head as he took her in fully, glancing from the tall heels on her perfectly manicured feet, all the way up to her effortlessly beautiful hair tied back at the base of her neck.

Harry was completely breathless. She was absolutely stunning.

"Um, I didn't know this was your room..." her soft voice snapped him out of his daze as she tucked a loose piece of hair behind her ear. "Oh god, did you hear that outburst?"
