Alfred and Gilbert stayed in the nurses office for the period. Alfred laid on Gilbert's chest and sniffled softly, watching as the other played a game on his phone. Gilbert would curse everyone once in a while or pause to text one of the others-not ludwig, never ludwig. Apparently he never texted during class or had his phone out. Of course, Francis texted him but he simply ignored that or left him on read. Every once in a while Gilbert would let Alfred try. Alfred played the game quietly and seemed rather content. When the bell rang he slowly stood up and waited for Gilbert to get up and come with as well. He gently held onto Gil's arm as they walked. The two weren't dating, but Alfred felt better when he held onto someone or something. It was like a calming mechanism. The next class he shared was art, and he had it with Kiku! The smaller Japanese boy stood outside the door and waited for them quietly.
"Hello Alfred, Gilbert" he said as Alfred waved. Slowly he moved from Gilbert's arm to Kiku's hand. Gilbert has warned Kiku of his behavior so the other wasn't surprised. He looked up at Alfred "are you ready for art? It'll be very relaxing..." he said and gave a small smile. Alfred nodded, still nervous as he gave a weak smile back. It was all he could muster up.
"Let's go..." Alfred whispered and looked at him. Gilbert nodded when said his goodbyes before running off while Kiku quietly began walking to class with Alfred. They talked quietly every once in a while but that was it. The silence wasn't awkward nor tense. It was just there and Alfred didn't seem to mind as they arrived. In this class he had to deal with Yao. The Chinese boy had a sharp tongue and was quick witted. He always tore down Alfred. Alfred was nervous but he had Kiku today. Maybe it'd be okay.
Heya! Sorry about another late update, I'm on my last essay but my power went out so I couldn't do anything! I hope y'all can forgive me with some art I made 💕 Enjoy 💕
