I woke up at 11 to a text message from josh

Hey y/n, come over later? Jaden can explain or if you don't
wanna see him, I can do it for him.

I'm sorry josh, I don't want to talk to him. You and The rest of sway can
come over to hang but nothing about jaden, got it?

Did I particularly want to talk to them? No. Was I dry texting? Yes. But did they take me in as a sister? Yes. Did they give me a place to stay? Yes. Are they family? Of course. In my eyes, family isn't blood, it's loyalty and trust and the boys were always loyal to me. 

I washed my face so I didn't look like a complete mess and threw on a sports bra and sweats. I put my hair in a bun and laid back down, scrolling through ig and tiktok.

"Hey y/n, you okay?" Charli said walking in my room and shutting the door behind her. "Yeah, I guess. The boys kinda invited themselves over if you don't mind." "Course not, they're our friends too. As long as it ain't Jaden or Griffin I'll be okay." She said laughing a little. "Duh, they're not welcome here" I said both laughing.

"Hey y/n, sways here" Dixie said opening my door revealing the smiley boys. "They can come in" Bryce ran in and jumped in between me and charli. "Hello sistas, what's the tea." He said in a girly voice. "Yeah, tell us girly" Josh said laying next to me on his stomach and waving his feet and his chin on his hands. "A dead squished girl can't say anything" I said making everyone laugh. "Right sorry" Bryce said sitting up. "How you doing?" Kio said standing in my door frame and giving me a sympathetic smile. "Been a lot better but alot worse I guess"

"We're having a beach day with the girls this week, you wanna come?" Josh asked me as we were looking for another sister squad video. "Not really. There's a lot of memories of me and jaden there. Maybe another team." "Yeah, jaden was telling us about on elf your dates there last night" Bryce said, who instantly got looks from all the boys. "Last night?" I asked confused. "He remembers y/n and he's really fucked up." Josh told me. I inhaled a shaky breathe and started talking. "Oh well. He knew what he was doing and he fucked me up. Now look at me. Locking myself in my room because he cheated."

"Listen y/n, that's not the whole story. He was manipulated. He did it for you" Josh said trying to convince me. "He still cheated did he not? And he knew what he was doing, did he not? He knew what would happen if I walked in and you all know too. Where the fuck where all of you when he invited her inside huh?" Tears were forming in my eyes and slowly falling as I spoke.

"I think that's the queue for you guys to leave" charli said standing up an smiling at them. "No no, you guys stay, I'm going out" I said grabbing my phone and wiping my tears with my sleeve. "Please stay y/n, we don't want anything to happen to you" Bryce said standing up and gesturing me to sit back down. "I'll be fine. You can hang out with charli and Dixie. I'll be back later" I walked out and got in my car. I started driving, not knowing where I was going. I constantly wiped away the tears streaming on my face until I stopped outside at the beach. I just walked and walked until I reached the spot.
