𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕

they invited you to dinner

you only went to three

they invited you to a weddings

you went but by yourself

no plus one

and they accepted it

you were doing good living a stable life well stable as could be being as the job you had was chaotic but overall you were doing better

you had your own little apartment by a local coffee shop which you went to every day and got not only yourself coffee but your team too

there were days where it was shitty and made you rethink everything, where you always think of where things went wrong

but you just ended up passing out from drowning your problems with a bottle of vodka or any liquor you could find

the day was going quite well for you

your morning wasn't bad though you got a call from your chief telling you to be there eat 5 am in the morning

that was an odd one because your chief never calls you

it always one of the others who would call you

it confused you

it worried you

and so you got ready as fast as you could and got to the to building

when you got there and entered the building you got anxious

almost frightened

worried to say the most

all those thoughts disappeared as soon as you left the elevator

your team was standing there

"uhm hey guys," you said

"the chief wanted to talk to me ..." you continued

"oh yeah, she's in her office waiting for you," one of them said worried for you

"uhm okay thanks," I said and went straight to your chiefs office

confused as hell as to what was going on

when you entered your chiefs office she was filling out paperwork

she looked up and gave you a cold stare

"ms. y/l please sit" she said

and you did that

"we're sad to do this but we have to let you go, your old unit needs you back and quickly as possible. you have done tremendous work here and we are grateful for your work here and you will be greatly missed... your gonna leave as soon as possible and while you are in the sky I will be faxing your transfer papers through..." she told you

you stared at her

millions of question ran through your mind

" understood," you said and gave a curt nod

you left her office and went to your desk to collect your belongings (though you didn't have many)

you said your goodbyes to your team

and went back to your car to drive to the hanger where the private jets are

once in the jet you got set and buckled and took a deep breath in and out preparing for what's bout to come and all the problems you left in Washington to face...

-two hours later-

when the jet landed your heart was racing fast

so fast

so fast that you thought your heart might just leap out of your chest right there and then while you were walking down the ramp and into an FBI owned SUV

the driver nodded at you and you nodded back as you headed into the back seat and started to dwell ... on basically everything in your life

you started to think about ...

and how everything was so good
but
then so bad

and how everything went downhill so fast

how you thought you two would've gotten married

how you two would've had kids

though your thoughts were abruptly put to a stop by the SUV reaching your destination

were you ready to face them again?

were you ready to face the doctor?

were you ready for the impact you might get from this?

were are you gonna run away again?

were you gonna forgive him even though he put you through hell and back multiple times during your relationship?

you didn't know

you didn't know any of the answers to these question your little voices in your head produced

you got out of the SUV and said your thanks and goodbyes to the driver and collected your things (suitcase plus a duffle bag)

you walked inside ... the reception lady recognized you and gave you it ID and let you pass

while on the elevator you started to feel nervous, anxious, scared ...

you didn't know what you were gonna face

after you left you gave everyone a vague explanation of why you left but by now spencer must've told them the real reason along with fight you guys had

the fight ...

you almost forgot about that

you slammed the door in spencer's face as you left

you never let him explain

but why should you

he ruined u

he played your emotions
