Once upon a time, in a far far away land, there once lived a prince. This prince wasn't like any ordinary prince... He searched far and near for his soon-to-be bride. But nothing in the likeness showed up. One day as he was sitting in his bedchamber writing a letter to the king, whom he hadn't seen in almost a year since the war broke out, a thought came to him. He would host a ball and all the ladies from all over the country would come to see him. There was only one problem...... This is how it really happened:
Once upon a nightmare, there was a very unordinary loser girl named Alex. She was in her second year and ready to be done with school; almost dropped out. This all changed when Tyler transferred to Scowford High School. Alex not only takes a huge interest in him but also ends up in a lot of mayhem because of him. This is her story.
CHAPTER ONE: Who's that hottie?
Rain. I truly hate the rain. It just thinks it can fall wherever it wants, whenever it wants. Thank you Mother Nature. It's not only the rain that I hate. It's the fact that I have to walk in the rain for 20 minutes, sit at my lousy bus stop with a bunch of preppy snobs, and then get on a half hour bus ride to the center of my misery. Scowford High School. Another thing that irks me.
I like to lie low and keep my mouth shut. When I try to socialize people act like I'm not even there. So I'm happily content on being silent. It's hell; high school. So here I am, sittting in this dusty old boring classroom, with my hood sagging from my damp hair when I see him. He walks into the room and hands the teacher a late pass and then starts making his way towards me. I try to close my mouth but it is permanently pried open.
He sits in the seat next to me in the very back of the room. He's staring at me; through me. His baby blue eyes not allowing me to look away.
"Can I help you?" I try to sound sarcastic but fail without effort.
"Yes. Uh no, I'm Tyler," he said pulling out a piece of gum. "Want one?"
I reach my hand out but pull it back instantly. "I'm fine." I say and try to focus on the work. But I can still feel his gaze on me.
"What's your name?" Tyler asks me.
"It's Alex. Look I gotta do my work, talk to you later," I say with no intention of seeing him later. This shuts him up though. From the corner of my eye I memorize his features.
