For years I've adored you, you never left my mind.
Each time I glance at you, I imagine our lives intertwined.
I hang off your every word, you have much to say.
Words that praise me and much more words that cause dismay.
You've been good to be, you've been bad to me.
You've been amazing to me, You've haunted me.
My eyes are now open, my mind is clear.
I know what you are and now my decision will not cause me fear.
I will no longer love you, for your love has only caused me pain.
I hereby banish you from my life, your existence for me has gone down the drain.
New years need new resolutions,
something that one should stick to.
This new year I am gonna get over you.
