Caligula smiled as he sat with his girls. All their babies were sleeping in their cribs in the nursery. He loved this so much. Though...he'd love it more when he got to do what he wanted to do.

He got up and headed to the nursery. Caligula was excited to do this. He slowly grabbed his son, Roman, and took him down to the basement. He took each child, one by one, and put them in their cribs in the basement.

"Ok, Emile," he whispered, going to his first son's crib. He picked him up and placed him in what looks like a small CATScan machine. The baby was screaming, but he didn't check on him. He just started the machine, watching as the microchip was placed in Emile's neck.

Caligula finished up and turned the machine off. He pulled Emile out, watching as his beautiful brown eyes flashed blue for half a second before going back. He had to put him down, feeling Emile's powers being used unintentionally. Caligula's smile grew and he chuckled.

Next, he grabbed Janus, doing the same to him. His poor baby....he had been born with a big birthmark on his left side of his face. He placed him in the machine. but Janus didn't cry.

Caligula started the machine, doing the same as he had done to Emile. He got Janus out and held him close, grinning as the birthmark disappeared. He smiled more as it came back, though. "Success..." he whispered, placing him back in the crib.

Next, Caligula picked up baby Logan, holding him close. The little boy watched him, biting on his hand. He had always been quiet, so Caligula wasn't worried. He put the baby in the machine. starting it up.

Watching after the chip was placed in, he pulled Logan out. He saw the gears turning in his head, almost literally. Though, he was slightly disappointed. In Logan's eyes, he saw a Disney movie playing. "You were not made a super computer in order to watch movies," he mumbled, placing him back in his crib.

Caligula grabbed Patton, smiling. His baby had the sweetest smile....that would be fixed easily enough later on. He placed him in the machine, ignoring his cries and screams as he had with Emile as well.

He pulled him out and sighed. He grinned slightly as the boy's hand moved fast, showing his small experiment had worked. "You'll come in handy someday," he chuckled softly.

He laid the baby down and picked up the next one. "Remus," he hummed softly. "I have very very high hopes for you...do not disappoint me." Caligula placed the baby in the machine, sighing softly.

A few minutes went by and he chuckled, pulling him out. Caligula looked the baby over, barely dodging the heat lasers that shot from Remus's eyes. He put him down and grabbed his twin, the only two that were biologically related.

"Roman," he chuckled. Caligula placed the boy in the machine and turned it on.

This time, there were screams of "Daddy!" as Roman cried to get out. Caligula didn't even flinch as he watched. No. He smiled instead. The basement was soundproof. It wasn't like his girls could hear any of this.

He grabbed Roman out as the baby boy cried. He looked him over and hummed, listening as his voice got deep, then high. Then the screams imitated his own, and Caligula grinned wickedly.

Placing Roman down, Caligula grabbed Remy now. He looked him over and chuckled softly at the sleeping baby. This was the best way to do this anyways. He put him inside the machine and started it easily.

He got Remy out when finished and looked him over. The baby was awake now and, when he grabbed his daddy's finger, he almost broke it.

"Fuck," Caligula mumbled. He pulled away and sighed, placing Remy back in his crib. He had one more child to modify.

Virgil stared up at his dad as he grabbed him, placing him in the machine. Caligula instantly turned it on and he could tell something was off. However, he couldn't stop, not now.

Virgil's screams filled the room as he woke all his brothers up. Eight children, screaming in unison. He didn't stop, not even when Caligula shut off the machine and got him out.

"Shit..." He whispered. Caligula sighed and wiped the blood from Virgil's ears, knowing he'd busted his ear drums. "Too bad...you're too small to be of any use anyways."

Caligula placed the baby in his crib and looked them all over. Virgil had finally stopped crying, and Caligula was relieved. Until he heard the basement door open.

"Callie?" Hemera hummed in her soft voice. Her and Nyx had woken up and not seen their boyfriend. They'd checked the nursery, too, but he hadn't been there. So, they checked his workshop.

Nyx frowned as her and Hemera went inside, looking around. She smiled again as she saw Caligula, both women going and hugging on him. He hugged back and smiled.

"Why did you bring the kids?" Hemera asked gently, humming. She frowned slightly, rubbing Virgil's cheeks as she saw more tears had fallen down face. "Why are they all crying, Callie?"

Caligula smiled. "I modified them!" he said proudly, earning incredulous looks from his girlfriends. "What?"

Nyx growled. "What do you mean modified?" She asked lowly, now standing between him and Hemera and the kids.

He rolled his eyes. "I made them more useful!" He said. "I gave them each powers. Well, I messed Virgil up, but we can always adopt a new one inst-"

"What?!" The girls screamed.

Hemera started looking them over as Nyx grabbed Caligula. "You hurt our babies!" She yelled. "They're fucking one year old, Caligula, what the fuck?!" She pushed him back and started grabbing babies, taking them upstairs with Hemera.

Caligula looked stunned, to say the least. He growled and went to leave, but the way out was blocked. "Let me out, Nyx! You're a fucking bitch!" He screamed, pounding on the door.

Hemera was crying now. "We can't stay with him..." She whispered, getting four of the babies into two double strollers.

Nyx sighed. "We can't stay together..." She said gently. She put her four babies into strollers as well and hugged on her girlfriend, who hugged back tightly.

"I-I know..." Hemera whispered, hanging onto her tightly. "I...I still have my old place...you do t-too, don't you...?" She looked up to Nyx, who nodded. "Let's...we have to k-keep them safe, Nyxie....I-I don't want you to leave me..."

Nyx sighed and kissed her head. "I know..." She mumbled. "But...it won't be forever, ok? I promise, I will find a way for us to be together..." She held her for a bit longer before letting go.

They both went to their cars, placing babies in. They drove off. They didn't want to run. But they had to get away from him as fast as possible.

Hemera got to her place first. She sighed as she took babies in, one by one. She laid Patton, Roman, Logan, and Emile down on their own separate spots on the carpet, kissing each of their heads.

Nyx was almost crying by the time she got to her old house. She took her kids in, laying them on her old king sized bed. She looked them over, having grabbed Janus, Remus, Virgil, and Remy. She kissed all their heads and sat with them.

They thought they were safe....but nobody is safe forever.
