"Please son.. Don't do this!" I heard my mom sobbed.
I sighed, "Mom, no one can stop me. Even you.."
"Anak naman! I can't afford to lose you."
"Ano nanamang kadramahan yan?" I heard Dad chuckled.
Napatawa nalang kami ni Mom, "Nothing Dad, I'm just asking Mom to help me with my script." Then I waved the rolled bond papers.
"You know what Hon, I am really proud that I have a son like Toby."
Hindi ko napigilang ngumiti, "Mom naman! Ano to, dramahan? Nadala sa emosyon?" Then we laughed.
Then all of a sudden, we saw Topaz, my five year old brother crying.
"Shhh Topaz..." Pag alo ni Dad sakanya.
"Why are you crying baby boy?" I asked then laughed loud but Mom pinched me. "Aw! Masaki-"
"I hate you Kuya!" Topaz shouted, that it made us stop.
"Topaz Neal.." Dad warned.
"Topaz, baby." Mom whispered.
"What the heck?!"
"I hate you because I thought that all this time, I am Mom's favorite!" He sobbed, "Not you!"
"Come to Mommy Topaz."
I innocently asked Dad, that it made him laughed.
He just shrugged and tapped my shoulders.
"Topaz, bunso. Hindi ko favorite ang kuya mo." Mom started.
"Aray ha Mom! Parang wala ako rito?" I dramatically covered my face with my hand.
"Nyenyenye! Hindi ikaw ang favorite ni Mommy!"
Napatawa nalang ako ng lihim, then Mom continued, "Hindi rin ikaw ang favorite ko, Topaz."
Then it was me who tease him, "Nyenyenye! Hindi ikaw ang favorite!" I even sticked my tongue out.
He was about to cry when Mom said, "Because, my favorite is your Daddy!" Then she laughed, "But you two, my sons. Listen. I really love you okay? I love you more than my life. I can't afford to lose you two. So you better take care of yourself alright?"
"Naks! Oh ano na? Edi group hug!" I shouted.
That's the thing about our family, we are really happy and we always end up loving each other, more and more each day.

"Ynah.. Please, don't do this! D-don't go!"
"Mom, I made up my mind! I can't stand this forever!"
Then I saw Mom kneeling in front of me, "Mom! Fucking stand up!"
"No! No!" Umiling iling pa sya, "I won't stand up unless you changed your mind Ynah!" Matigas nyang sabi.
"Punyeta naman Mommy!" Naitapon ko sa lapag yung bag ko at niyakap sya ng mahigpit. I can feel my shirt getting wet because of her tears.
"Stop crying! Hindi bagay!" I shouted.
Tumigil naman sya sa pag iiyak nya at niyakap ako ng mas mahigpit, "Thank you for staying Ynah." I sighed.
Umupo kami sa sofa at nagpakuha sya ng maiinom sa mga kasambahay namin, "What's up to you? Bat biglaan mo nalang gustong umalis?"
"Sino bang hindi gustong umalis kung yung padre de pamilya natin. Wala ng pakielam sa-"
"Mommy? Ate? Are you fighting?" Then my four year old sister was walking towards us.
"N-no baby! It's now what you think.." Mom defensively stated.
"Then why are you crying? I saw you Mom."
"Zel, we aren't fighting alright? Ain't that bitch to fight my Mom, lalo na dito sa sarili nyang pamamahay. Sa harap ng kanyang mayayamang kapit bahay. And ofcourse, to you." Lintana ko.
She sighed, in relief, "Okay. Good." The next thing I knew, nakita ko si Zel na nawalan ng malay.
"Anak! / Criztel!!" We shouted.
