After the appointment I wasn't in the mood to talk to anybody. Brendon kept calling and sending texts to my phone, but I refuse to answer. I just want to be alone to deal with my own misery. All I could think of was this baby and Pete. I mean why now, everything was going great. I just don't know what I'm going to do.
I heard a slight knock at the door.
"Patrick open up, its Brendon."
No I don't want to talk to him he'll probably think I'm a freak of nature or something.
"Patrick I know you're in there, I saw your car parked outside the driveway" he says.
"Please go away" I sobbed.
"Not until you open this door and tell me what's wrong."
I stayed quiet I just wanted to be alone.
"Trick if you don't let me in I'll have no choice but to get the key you hide on top of your door."
I got up from the couch and opened the door to a worried Brendon he pulled me into his arms and I started crying.
He led me back into the living room setting me back on the couch.
"What's wrong?" he asked. I just shook my head.
I want to tell him but what if he doesn't believe me. I mean I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you" I said.
"Well if you say anything that has to do with aliens or unicorn no, but other than that try me" I laughed and shook my head again.
"No umm... I...I'm p...pregnant" I tell him.
I explained to Brendon everything that happened during my doctors appointment. The barfing, back aches, having both reproductive parts, and the ultrasound.
"So six weeks along" he asked. I nodded.
He paused for a moment. "THIS IS AMAZING TRICK I'M GOING TO BE AN UNCLE" he yelled.
He put his hands on my stomach leaning down and started talking to it. "You know it can't hear you yet right?"
"I know but I'm just excited" he sat up "Wait what about Pete?"
"What about him?" I asked.
"Patrick! you have to tell him."
"I know but I just need time to think right now everything just feels so surreal you know" he nodded.
"Hey, do you think I can get pregnant too?" he asked.
"What I was just kidding."
