We worked on our project for about an hour before I went home. And we actually got a lot done. For our project we were going to write a short story about the way people effect each other. We would start with a strange event, and then tell the stories of 2 people who saw that event. Then we'd tell the story of the event itself. It was going to be pretty cool.
I was also glad that Scott was an okay guy. I don't know how I would've coped if he were some sort of jerk.
"Hey Kara." Nella messaged. She was sitting on her bed, reading a book. "How'd it go?"
"Pretty good," I responded. "whatcha reading?"
She showed me the cover of her book. Enders Game.
"Oh I love that one!" I "said". "what part are you at?"
"He just received command of Dragon army."
"oooh! That's exciting." Enders Game was one of my favorite books. I really loved how the author showed his world.
"Yeah, it's good" Nella messaged. I could tell she wanted to be left alone, so I grabbed "The Tale of Despereaux" and went outside. I figured if I was doing a project on it, I wanted it to be fresh in my mind.
It was a beautiful day. It almost always was, since we had weather manipulators. Everything looked clean and white, like always. I found an empty bench and sat down to read.
If you haven't read The Tale of Despereax, I would highly recommend it. I read it when I was little and I love it.
Also, Enders Game is probably my favorite book, so you should definitely read that too.
Please vote and comment! I'd really love to hear what you think!
