41. Take Control

Aaron was perfect.

I know, I've said that a thousand times already, but seriously he was. I loved the little things he did.

Like when he'd show me new songs in the park because he thought I'd like it or because they reminded him of me.

Or when he randomly kissed my hand or my cheek, or my head when we were snuggled up on his couch or bed.

Or how he texted me every morning. This morning was no different, and this time he made me burst out in laughter.

6:04 am
A: Wake up

6:27 am
A: Rise and shine Morgan

7:00 am
A: Um...don't you have school?

7:11 am
A: Okay seriously...I was up an hour earlier and I was bored

7:27 am
A: Morgan!

7:31 am
A: Can't a guy just get a text back?

I shook my head as I lay in bed, reading through my messages. I laughed and then replied.

M: You know some people find this creepy right?

A: Good thing we're not some people ;)

M: You're cute

A: I know.

M: Cocky much?

A: Do you really want me to answer that?

I burst out laughing once more at his reply.

M: I have to get ready for school

A: So do I but I know you'd much rather talk to me

M: Bye Aaron

A: Ugh fine.

I put my phone down and it buzzed again, and I smiled like an idiot when I read his last message.

A: Hope your day's as beautiful as you ;)

I must be in some sort of parallel universe because there is no way I could be this happy. I finally got up to go get ready and headed to school after that.

After my Biology class I headed to the library to meet Shannon.

"Morgan."

I looked up from my phone to see a girl named Jenna, who I had class with.

"Oh, hey Jen," I said.

"Do you mind if I borrow your Bio notes? I skipped,"
she asked.

I chuckled. "Sure."

I searched in my backpack for my book and sighed when I realized it wasn't in there. "You know what? I think I must have left it in class, I'll go back and get it really quickly. We have History last period right? I'll just give it to you then."

She nodded. "Sure, thanks."

I smiled as she left, and then turned around to go fetch my notebook. When I got there, the door was locked, which was weird. I peeped through the small glass, and boy oh boy I wish I hadn't.

Sienna and Mr. Wilden. Mr. Wilden and Sienna.

This was wrong. This was very very wrong. They broke their kiss and Sienna turned towards the door, and for a second our eyes met. I quickly backed away from the door, trying to process what I just saw. I immediately began to speed walk away from the classroom.
