The three vikings landed in front of Astrid's house a few minutes later. Hiccup slid off and helped Astrid dismount the night fury. Valka excused herself and Cloudjumper, who, which Valka explained on the way back, does not participate with the other dragons this time of year.

"Off to the academy I go." Hiccup stated.

"I'll help." Astrid said, grabbing ahold of her boyfriends hand a cuddling close to him.

The chief nodded and started down the hill to the academy.

"Astrid!" Someone yelled from behind them.

They turned around to see Finn, Astrid's uncle, waving them down. Astrid turned to Hiccup and then walked up to her uncle, with Hiccup trailing behind.

"What is it uncle Finn?" She asked.

"I need your help. I have some things I need to get done before tomorrow." He explained.

Astrid turned to Hiccup, who nodded.

"Help your uncle, I can take care of things at the academy."

She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, then a wave before following her uncle inside their house. Hiccup then mounted Toothless and took off for the academy. He rubbed the night fury's neck.

"I hope Gobber is still looking for the ring. I need to figure out how I am to propose as well. Maybe my mom could help..." He trailed on into thought.

Toothless zoomed down through the houses and landed in front of the academy gate, which was only held up by one hinge...out of four. They walked in and surveyed the damage. Some of the doors to other rooms in the building were blown off, and the rest smoking. Troughs of water were spilled and splinters of wood from the barrels lay strewn across the floor.

"They really got into it, didn't they bud?" The chief asked, patting his dragons side.

Toothless crooned in response. Hiccup looked around the room and spotted the culprits, Ruff and Tuff, as well as the rest of the gang. They were all seated in the corner, encircling the twins and looking down on them.

"What did you guys do now?" Hiccup asked.

The whole gang turned to face him.

Tuff turned to face him as well and chuckled nervously. "Hehe, um, hey chief. Just, ya know, fooling around."

Hiccup closed his eyes and shook his head. "You are going to help me clean this place spotless, am I clear?"

"Crystal." Snotlout said and the rest nodded.

"Alright, Ruff, Tuff, you guys go get a bin and start picking up the splinters everywhere. The rest of you will help me fix the doors. Snotlout, can you please fetch the tools from the office." Hiccup said.

They all dispersed and began to work. The twins picked up the wood and scrubbed the ash from the floor, then went on to help fix the iron door with Eret and Fishlegs. Snotlout and Hiccup extinguished the remaining smoke from the wooded doors, fixed, polished and hung them back into place.

Hiccup dusted his hands off and put the tools back into their holder. He walked over to the twins and cocked an eyebrow.

"Never again, understand?" He said.

They stared at him, wide eyed, and nodded.

He chuckled and clapped Tuffnut on the shoulder. "Then you may go home now..."

"Hiccup!" Gobber yelled.

He turned to see the two limbed viking hobbling down into the academy, waving a fist in the air. He was clearly out of breath, most likely from running around for a period of time. The man never works out.
