And again summer is just about a couple more minutes. Gosh, I have been waiting for summer since it ended last year. Too crazy? Well, that’s me there The quiet unique person. All I do is watch, read and learn. Not too much right. I’m not even a visible person in school but all will change when I get to collage.

My brother though. He is the total opposite of me even if we are twins from birth. He’s older than me only for three minutes yet he acts like I’m his seven year old sister. I must say that he is a total jerk to all the girls in school except for me. Some girls even envy me not knowing why he treated me like this. People keep on telling me that I don’t even look like him and that only our hair was the perfect copy of each others.

Class seems to be a little more brighter as the clock ticks closer to summer. Someone was taping on their desk counting slowly. Everyone was counting down together. 32, 31, 30… I am actually nervous for this summer. After summer break I’m going to go to collage but a totally different collage from Asher my overprotective brother. I’m nervous but actually excited. What would life be like without Asher being my twin bodyguard who doesn’t actually look like me.

10, 9, 8, 7… someone was standing on his chair, Jackson maybe. He’s my brother’s cocky, annoying, jerk friend. Have I ever mentioned that my brother is one of the school’s cliché jock. 3, 2… so close. “ONE!” The students shook the class with shouts and laughters. Just like every summer. I was standing on my own chair like everyone is while the teacher tries to figure out what just happened. This is the most thing I have ever done in school. I was not marked as a rebel, my brother is. I’m the person with clean reports and high grades due to learning and making my homework. No one ever does homework in this school. Not even the freshmen.

A broad smile tugged on my lips. Papers were flying in the air like decorations. Mrs. Roswell looked at us like crazy animals and shot me a confused look. I happily pointed to the clock and she nods meaning that she gets it now but her confusing look was targeted at me. I gave her an assuring smile. I know she’s confused by my reaction to all of this. Standing on my chair while laughing with the others. Somehow I feel like I’m actually fitting in with the rest of the school.

I stepped down from my chair and someone followed my actions. Jackson greeted me with his top notch famous grin. From the lot of students in this school only Jackson and Asher’s other friends acted like I’m a real person.

“Happy summer Ashly.” He smirks as he talks.

“Back at you.” I give a sweet smile and turn around to see my brother walk in the room with a couple more friends.

Apparently the class I’m in is the best seat to be in the whole school and many of Asher’s friends go to the same classes as I do. Don’t be fooled people but jocks maybe as smart as straight A nerds. I give my brother a little wave so he can see me from the masses of students barging in.

“Hey, sissy” He ruffled his fingers through my hair.

“I’m not a sissy, loser.” I grinned like the cat in alice in wonderland.

“Sure, bookworm.”

“jerk.”

“loony.”
