Birthday
AN: For my amazing little sister's 15 birthday today <3
Today is my 18th birthday. It’s supposed to be a big special day but everyone forgot it was my birthday and made plans that didn’t involve me. So instead of spending my big eighteenth birthday with friends or family I’m spending it alone… I decided to drive to the mall and shop. I always shop when I’m depressed or feeling down. So that’s what I did. I got to the mall and went in. I had no idea what stores I was going in so I just walked around. I went into whatever store I wanted to and bought things I probably don’t need and should’ve kept in the store but I didn’t really care. I walked to the food court and got some food. I sat and went on twitter. There were pictures of Logan Henderson with fans at a mall. THE MALL I WAS AT. I kept scrolling and making sure he was here, he was. I wanted to faint. I’m a Big Time Rush fan and Logan is my favorite. I decided that trying to find him was going to be useless so I just forgot about running into my idol at the mall, it seemed like a waste of time. I finished eating and then kept walking around. My phone vibrated in my pocket, I took it out and looked at it. I was paying attention and ran into someone. I said,
“Oh my gosh, I’m sorry.”
I kept my head down, then I heard a familiar voice that gave me chills up my spine.
“Don’t worry about it sweetheart.”
I looked up, it was him. I felt numb. He smiled,
“Logan, you are?”
He held out his hand. I grabbed it and said,
“Alyssa… And I know who you are…”
He laughed,
“I know. You’re wearing a BTR shirt.”
I looked down and probably turned every shade of red, how embarrassing.
“Oh, it’s from my first BTR concert when I was like 14 or so.”
“Woah, how old are you now?!”
I sighed,
“I turned 18 today…”
“And you’re at the mall, by yourself?”
“Yeah, everyone forgot my birthday.”
“I didn’t!”
He smiled. I laughed a bit,
“You didn’t even know my birthday was today.”
“Exactly, so I didn’t forget.”
I smiled at him, he was a dork.
“Well, I should go. I’m sure you are busy.”
“Not really. I mean I am at the mall by myself.”
“Did everyone forget your birthday too?”
I smiled, he laughed.
“No. I was just bored. Let’s chill. I’ll make your 18th birthday memorable.”
I shyly smiled and said,
“If you want. I wouldn’t mind spending my 18th birthday with my idol…”
He smiled,
“I’m your idol?”
“Yeah, but that’s for another conversation.”
He laughed,
“Whatever you say sweetheart.”
We walked around talking. I couldn’t stop laughing. I was actually having a good time.
“Do you remember meeting me?”
I blurted out, I was curious. He looked at me,
“Well, I’ve met a lot of people. When did I meet you?”
“Well, I’ve had VIP every tour plus a few signing and radio interviews.”
“Oh wow. Do you have the pictures?!”
I laughed,
“You know it’s okay that you don’t remember meeting me… You can tell me the truth.”
He didn’t say anything. I went on my phone and found the pictures.
“I have the pictures. You want to see them?!”
“Yeah, send them to me.”
“Uhm how?”
“I’ll give you my number.”
He gave me my number and I sent him all 5 meet and greet pictures… I was actually nervous now for some reason. I heard him chuckle, oh great he’s probably looking at the pictures.
“These are cute. I love how you’re standing by me in every picture.”
“Well you are my favorite.”
“It’s cute. And I do remember you. You were so cute the first concert.”
“Ew, I was so young. I thought you were going to fall in love with me and take me home…”
He laughed. I pushed him, he pushed me back.
“And then you got hot for the ‘Big Time Summer Tour’ and then the ‘Summer Break Tour’ you’re even hotter. Then the last one you’re just beautiful.”
“What about now?”
He looked at me and smiled,
“Still beautiful sweetheart.”
I smiled,
“Thanks Logie.”
He put his arm around me. I think I died a bit.
He took me out to dinner and then brought me back to my car at the mall.
“Thank you for an amazing birthday I won’t forget.”
“Don’t mention it. I had a great time.”
I smiled at him, I wanted to kiss him or hug him I don’t know.
“Well, I’ll see ya around.”
“Hey, wait. You didn’t get your birthday kiss yet.”
I smiled and my heart dropped. He put his arms around my waist and kissed me. I could probably faint right now.
“Happy Birthday sweetheart!”
“Thank you Logan!”
he kissed me again.
“I’ll call ya later.”
“Okay, I’ll be waiting.”
He smiled his amazing and kissed me gently. I smiled at him, I could cry right now. He walked to his car. I got into mine and screamed. I was going to cry. I really hope we work out because that would be a dream come true. I already know I love him. I just had the best birthday ever all thanks to my idol.
