15 Minutes!

15 Minutes! I thought to myself

downstairs to show Hermes. How on earth did that happen?!

To recall the events of that evening, I went home -Usual. I chucked my bag in my room - Usual. I saw a packageon my bed - Unusual. And what was inside that package forever changed my life. If i had known, maybe I wouldnt have opened it.

But I did.

And I payed for it with my life.

I eyed the package, thinking who would send me a package and why? I slowly opened the box and inside was a gleaming black box, made of some sort of black stone. I picked up the box and examined it. A jewlery box? I opened it and inside was a stone strewn on a silver chain. The stone, if possible was darker than black however, it somehow had a shine in it. It was a purple stone that looked almost like glass. I gingerly stroked the diamond stone; In the blink of an eye - quite literally all I did was blink - I stood in a long corridor illuminated by torches. Everything looked slightly medieval.

What the hell?! I thought as I wondered the corridors. They snaked through a large complex, I eventually gathered that I was in some sort of palace. I found a massive set of double doors that stood proud; at least double my height. I barely touched them before my body was engulfed in flames.

I screamed out of shock more than pain, the flames didn't seem to hurt me at all. Out of reactiopn I ran towards the door and managed to barge it open with my now aching right shoulder

Beyond the doors was a massive hall tht left we in awe. Black chandeliers dangled from the cieling, illuminating the hall in a dark bluie light. The hall was epmpty apart from one lone stone pedestal in the centre. I walked towards the pedestal, still engulfed in flames and stared at the gleaming sword that rested upon it. the closer I got the brighter the flames that snaked my body grew. The flames didn't hurt at all.

The sword had a slight purple glow to it that contrasted the dark blue of the room. I felt drawn to it, the rim of the swordwas thin and sharp and had a delicate tint of purple. The sword gleaming silver, purple and blue all at the same time. I stretched out my hand slowly and clutched the hilt in my hand. Immediately the sword flamed up purple.

The blue flames that engulfed my body turned purple and flared upin unison to the sword. I felt raw power being emmited from it and my heart began to race. Adrenaline pumping through every vein in my body. The room changed coloyur to match my flames. I brought the sword up to my face and examined it more closely. It felt perfect in my hands, the perfect weight, perfect reach, as if it was made for me. I knew it was. The3 hilt suddenly began to burn and I was forced to drop it. the sword, inches away from the ground, hovering. It came back up of its own accord and impaled me directly in my heart. I didn't move. Barely even had time to open my mouth and gasp. the movement was so quick. My blood splattered on the floor of the hall as I fell to the ground. My bopsy limp and lifeles ...
