my eyes batted open. my phone violently buzzed on my end table next to me. light filled my room. i fumbled to grab my cell and unplug it from the charger. i turned on my screen, the light blurry for a moment before i saw the notifications.

i groaned. sleep felt long. like something fantastical had happened.

opening my messages, i pull up my chat with sapnap.
