"The newborns will be frantic." Edward shook his head as he grabbed her hand again. "Let me put a bandage on that."

Bella shook her head. "It's okay. Don't make yourself uncomfortable."

"It doesn't bother me anymore," he simply answered. Bella finally gave in and watched him put a bandaid on her index finger, a lot like Christina did moments before.

"Since when?" Christina asked, zipping up her sweatshirt as she felt a chill run through the trees.

"Since I went twenty-four hours thinking Bella was dead." Edward stared down at Bella's hand as he furrowed his brows. "You're still not wearing your ring."

"Ring?" Christina asked stepped closer to Bella, looking down at her hand like it was going to pop up and answer her question. "What ring?"

Bella ignored Christina's question as she stared up at Edward. "I didn't want to risk losing it."

"Or risk Jacob seeing it," Edward corrected.

"What ring?" Christina asked again, this time looking towards Edward for an answer.

"Bella's engagement ring," he finally answered.

Christina's eyes brightened as she looked towards Bella. "Why didn't you say something? When did this happen?"

Bella sheepishly looked towards her sister. "Uh, right after graduation."

"You've keep this from me for a week and a half," Christina scoffed before pulling off her left glove and holding out her hand for Bella to see. "At least I told you after four hours."

Bella's eyes widened in surprise as she looked down at Christina's new ring. "Oh my, Christina! Congratulations!"

The two sisters hugged with shared laughter. "I can't believe we're getting married," Christina laughed in shock.

"Who's getting married?" Jacob asked as he stepped closer to the small group, with Seth in tow.

Bella gave Christina a look, and the mother was quick when she turned to the two boys and held out her hand. "Carlisle and I."

Seth hugged her in celebration while Jacob just gave her a soft smile, shock entering his body. "Since when?"

"We're waiting until everything settles down again," Christina started as she pulled away from the youngest wolf. "But he asked me this morning."

"Congrats, Momma Vamp."

Christina scoffed as she slapped Jacob's shoulder in retaliation.

"Alice says there's a storm coming in," Edward muttered as he looked up at the dark clouds. Both wolves following his lead.

Jacob nodded his head. "Yeah, I can feel it. We should get going."

"I'll take the longer route, but I'll get there first." Edward handed over Bella's bag, which Jacob grabbed and slipped over his shoulder. "I'll set up camp."

Edward leaned down and kissed Bella's forehead before muttering his goodbye.

Jacob looked down at Bella as the young Swan continued to stare at the spot Edward left. "Something up?" he asked.
