Terre Haute, Indiana is the County Seat of Vigo county, and is the 13th largest city in Indiana. It has about 60,000 people living in it and about 170,000 living in its metropolitan area. While Indiana may be the crossroads of America, Terre Haute is why they gained that title. Most people on the federal death row are imprisoned and killed in Terre Haute.

The last one's my personal favorite.

The Gold and Dark Blue come from the Indiana flag, although the gold could also represent the corn grown there and in the surrounding area. The light blue represents the Wabash River, as Terre Haute is the capital of the Wabash Valley, the area surrounding the river.
