𝒘𝒆'𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒏

"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, Ken-chan! I'll come back right here." You try to give him a reassuring smile. He reluctantly nods.

"Fine. Be quick!" Shirabu commands as you nod and walk away. After a couple of minutes, it hits Shirabu. "I didn't tell her where it was!"

"Baka," Kawanishi sings as Shirabu stands up to go find you. On the other hand...

'Where is the bathroom? This place is huge?' you ask yourself and look around. Not focusing on what's in front of you, you suddenly bump into something hard. "Ouch!"

"Watch where yer going, shrimp!" Looking up while rubbing your nose, you see a blondie. Irritated by his rude comment, you cross your arms.

"Huhhh? Shrimp?? You watch where you're going!" You point your finger at him and see how impatient he looked.

"I don't care, shrimp! I need to find the bathroom!" He pushes you out of the way.

"So rude! I was just on my way to the bathroom," you mumble loud enough for him to hear. He suddenly places his two big hands on your shoulders.

"Take me with you!!!" You cringe at the sight and read down at his tracksuit.

"Inarizaki??"

"Yes! Never heard of us? We're—you know what? It doesn't matter! I ate something bad and I have to go! Just take me already, lady!!" he cries out in desperation.

"Not with that rude attitude." Lies. Honesty, you just didn't know where it was yourself.

"HA?! You little—"

"Tsumu, what are you doing yelling at a girl?" Another voice calls out.

"E-eh?!" You point at the gray haired boy who looked identical to the blondie.

"What? You've never seen twins?" Atsumu snorts which causes irk marks to appear on your head. Atsumu's annoying attitude made you forget how nervous you were earlier. "Samu!!! I need to find the bathroom!! This shrimp is no help!"

"I-I never said I was going to help you!" Osamu watches in amusement before he direct you both to the bathroom. Once you're done, you come out to see Osamu waiting against the wall.

"T-thank you for helping me find the bathroom," you shyly thank and play with your hands. Osamu smirks before simply nodding.

"You can thank me by buying me food." Your eyes widen and irk marks appear.

"Y-you're just as bad as your twin!" You point at him as he chuckles.

"I'm just kidding... not really but, are you the manager for Shiratorizawa?" he asks as you nod.

"Guess we're rivals then." The nervousness soon comes back.

"W-we'll win!"

Osamu amusedly stares at your expression.

'She's cute,' he thinks to himself. As he's about to open his mouth someone intervenes.

"F/n, are you okay?" Shirabu asks and holds onto your arm. Looking forward, he sees Osamu and irritation boils in him. 'Who's he?'

"I'm good, Ken-chan! Sorry I took so long. I was having trouble finding the bathroom," you giggle and rub the back of your neck.

"Well, let's go back before the ceremony starts," Shirabu says and intertwines his fingers with yours which causes you to blush.

"O-okay!"

Osamu watches in amusement once more.

"See you later, rival," he bids as you hesitantly stop walking away.

"B-bye... Osamu-san." Walking hand in hand with Shirabu was oddly quiet. "Ken-chan, are you okay?" You poke his arm.

"I-I'm fine!"

"Ehhh? You don't seem fine?" you pout which makes him feel bad.

"S-Sorry, F/n... who was that?" Shirabu stutters.

"Uhhh, just a person I ran into... well, I didn't really run into him—I ran into his twin, but then I met him. He says we're going to play against each other, Ken-chan!" you explain and stand in front of him. "We're going to win! I believe in you all!" You smile, feeling confidence grow in you.

Shirabu smiles back.

"Yeah, we're going to win."

"Uncle and Auntie," Haruka calls out.

"What is it, Haruka? What's with the sudden call of wanting to meet up?" Mrs. L/n asks as Haruka takes a breath.

"I don't agree with your guys' choice of moving F/n to Tokyo."

Omg, just watched A Whisker Away on Netflix!! Y'ALL NEED TO WATCH IT! It reminded me of this fanfic but just so much better and angsty!! It was beautiful though... If y'all enjoy reading this fanfic, you guys will love the movie! 😭💗
