So is this a forever type thing? - Smut

(A/N; warning: only a little angst, smut. also, this chapter happens to be over 7k words long so welcome to my longest one shot ever sooooo yeehaw)

Immortal.

 the words rang through his ears. he couldn't manage it. he couldn't think about it, yet he couldn't stop thinking about it. the fact he would be around long after the avengers.after everyone he loved. he still hasn't caught up with everything he missed under the ice. 

"Steve?" a voice pulled him out of his thoughts "Are you still with us?"

his head shot up, his eyes meeting Bruce's, holding papers of some kind. 

"uh yeah, sorry." he shook his head, "please, continue"

"so, as i was saying, it seems the serum you were given has affected your DNA structure, which explains why you survived being in the ice for all those years" he placed the papers he was holding down "so like i said, basically, you're immortal. i cant know if you will die n the future. if you can die from non natural causes. Were doing tests on Bucky now, we cant know how it affected him, it seems everyone with the serum had different reactions." 

Steve opened his mouth to speak but couldn't find the words. he sighed shaking his head 

"i know, its a lot to take in. take as much time as you need alright?" Bruce gently placed his hand on steves shoulder as the door burst open

"guys, Thor brought someone in" Clint panted "i think you guys may want to see this."

Bruce glanced down at Steve "i think ill stay, go ahead Bruce. i need some time to think. if you need me ill be in my room." he stood up walking to the stares while Clint and Bruce got on the elevator

"Bruce, meet y/n." Clint gestured to the woman in full conversation with Thor and Loki"

"you mean-"

"its her. i dont know how Thor knows her, or even whats going on"

"Thor? a word" tony spoke up, causing you to look his direction, giving them a soft smile. you turned back to Loki, your smile fading when you earned a glare from tony

"Thor why the hell is she here. we have been tracking her for months! we-"

"why have you been tracking lady y/n?" Thor questioned, visible confusion on his face

"She has been spotted in the city, stopping robberies some how without powers. there has been photos taken of her with hydra agents nearby. she could easily be working for them. how are you being so chummy with her?"

Tony was taken aback at thors outburst of laughter, grabbing his stomach and turning towards you "lady y/n come here" he spoke between laughs,frantically waving an arm to be more dramatic.

you turned from Loki, your hands behind your back as you slowly walked over. you stopped in front of the four men, Thor wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

"This is lady y/n" he smirked "Of Asgard" he chuckled

"hi there" you smiled softly, waving a hand "uh i decided to visit earth to find Thor but it happened to be harder than i thought" you looked at the ground. soft blush covering your cheeks 

you look up to see the man Thor told you was tony grab the arm of Bruce and pull him away. you glance and the only one left with Thor and you was the Clint guy

"so you're asgardian? and not a part of hydra?" he questioned

"hydra?"

"oh boy well" he sighed "thats somewhat reassuring. there a group of assholes basically." he turned away from you briefly to grab something off the table "so after we found out you stopped robberies in town with just your words? we knew something was up." he handed you a collection of photos
