LIZZIE LEIGHTON is not known for thriving in the realm of relationships. Of any kind. Except of course, if you count her uncle Connor (who really isn't her uncle at all), she's never really had anyone to show her how to build a relationship with someone. She's not saying that Connor has done a bad job raising her, because oh sweet lord above, Lizzie could never even imagine what her life would be without that man. Thank god he picked her up from the orphanage only a mere month after she was born, giving her a home, and a last name. It's a good thing he's a wizard too, because that would've been awkward.
You see, Lizzie never met her parents, she hardly even knows who they are. She knows for a fact their alive, but they are off somewhere else in the world, without her. But Lizzie doesn't really mind because she's happy, truly, and irreversibly happy.
Her final year at Hogwarts is approaching quickly, and don't get her wrong school is most definitely her second home, but she sure as hell won't miss people giving her strange looks in the hallways. Lizzie simply just looks forward to making it through her exams, watching her house's quidditch team hopefully win the house cup for once (she prides herself off her house spirit, whenever there's a game you'll catch her decked out in yellow and black somewhere in the stands), and finally not having to deal with seeing Cedric Diggory's face every single day.
