How do you prepare for something that has never even crossed your mind?
Unlike the more epic nature of my other two projects, this is a more simplified and realistic tale still set within the Halo continuity. It follows a young boy living in the outer colonies during the initial Covenant invasion, when they swept across the human civilizations like a thief in the night. How does a child react when they see their entire world collapse around them, and what would anyone do when faced with oblivion from an unseen enemy?
This story will deal with topics such as naivety, family, trust, and trauma. I want to study the life of this young boy, and see how he reacts to endless and unprecedented carnage.
