A waiter leads us to our table and I realize the place is also huge, although there aren't many tables there and all the tables are very separated from each other.
Now I understand why there's so many people waiting outside.
There's another huge luminaire made of crystals hanging on the ceiling at the center of the room, above what I can only picture to be a bar.
The walls of the restaurant look antique, but the bar, the table, the chairs and everything else looks pretty modern. The floor is also made of marble.
The waiter leads us to a table with four seats. Claire and Dominic seat in front of each other, while I seat next to Claire and the seat in front of me remains empty.
While I stare at it, someone pulls the chair in front of me and seats.
"Oh, hello, ladies. It's nice to see you here." Ian says looking at me with a big smile on his face while seating on the chair.
He's wearing a black shirt, which also has its sleeves on. The shirt is a little tight on his body, so you can see the shape of his arms. Oh my. He's hot.
Since it's the first time I see him without a jacket, I can see that he has tattoos on his arms. Two of them, actually. One is in his right forearm, on the inner side, it's a black rose filled with thorns – inside joke, perhaps? – and the other one is on his left shoulder, I can't see the entire drawing since part of it is covered by his shirt's sleeves, but I can see that it's a tribal of some kind. Just random drawings that doesn't really make sense, but makes his shoulder look even more muscular.
He also has his sunglasses hanging on his shirt. And he's wearing blue jeans and brown boots, like his brother, but Ian's boots are longer.
His hair is loosened, falling on top of his shoulders, and it looks beautiful. He has only one side stuck behind his ear, and the other side is falling on his face.
"How have you been, Miss... Sommers, isn't it?" He takes Claire's hand and places a little kiss on the top. Claire smiles with that smile on her face and I can see she starts to flush.
Claire flushing? Oh, wow. This is new.
"Wow, you have a great memory. I'm great, how are you?" She keeps smiling.
"Oh, I'm great too, believe me. What about you, Miss... Skye? How have you been?" He turns his eyes back at me, with a little smile at the corner of his mouth, he takes my hand and places a little kiss on the top too.
I can see why Claire flushed. My body completely shivers when I feel his mouth on my hand, his touch is warm and gentle, and he kisses it without taking his eyes off mine.
"I've been fine. Thank you." I answer politely, trying to sound normal.
His expression doesn't change and he stares at me with that corner smile on his face. I turn my gaze down, feeling that I'm starting to flush too.
Oh no, not the flushing again.
"So, are you guys enjoying Miami?" Dominic asks, trying to break the ice that just landed on our conversation.
"Yes, I love Miami! It's been a while since I last came here, I really missed this place." Claire says sounding excited and Dominic smiles, with the non-reaching eyes smile at Claire.
"So you've been to Miami before?" He asks.
"Yes, I came here a few times before. My parents also love Miami." Claire answers still excited. And I noticed that Ian hasn't taken his eyes off me for a second since he said hi to Claire. He stares at me with an endless corner smile and finally says
