Chloe's POV

12am...

     I hear screams and my eyes flutter open and I see my two best friends shouting "Happy birthday!!," and It causes me to smile, gleefully.

"So you both came by 12am to tell me this?," I ask with the smile unwavering.

"Girlfriend why wont we," Kylie says.

"Chloe don't cry", Ryder says when she hears the slight sniffles falling from my lips

'Sniff' I let out another one as my eyes water.
  "I just love you both so much, you guys are the best best friends a girl could ever have,".
  
    You'll love us more when you hear what we have planned today for your birthday.

"Kayla I thought it was meant to be a surprise," Ryder says looking annoyed.

"Now you'll make her so curious," he whined with a subtle eye roll at my other best friend.

"OMG! where are you both taking me too," I smile radiantly, coming up to hug them both when I realized the meaning behind their words.
     
       Kylie, Ryder and I met at college and have been friends ever since. Kylie is 22years old and is a top model. She's so pretty with her blonde her and blue eyes while Ryder is 26years old and the CEO of a big tech company which was passed down to him by his father. He has a boyfriend which makes him the only one amongst us that is dating and although he is obviously the richest, he is still the nicest as well. he's the bond that holds us together best, his character and ability to never get mad.

   "Well Chloe since it's your 25th birthday, we have something really nice planned this year for you," Ryder tells me and which makes my curiosity to keep heightening.

"We booked a club just for your birthday!" Kylie reveals.

"Ahh! I love you both but I'm not a club person and you both...." I say with my last words, filled with an emotive edge.

    "No! Chloe don't give I and Ryder that excuse please. It's your birthday and you deserve the best and frankly we ain't taking no for an answer," Kylie says adamantly despite the puppy dog look I had on .

"Kylie is right baby girl, your going and that's final," Ryder adds, and I knew then that it was hopeless. I will end up going eventually as the hinted promise in their words made it so clear

"Okayyy fine, so please can we sleep or are you both going home by this time."

   "Hahahaha baby girl, we are gonna watch some movies and eat some cake before we go to bed," Ryder says and I'm really down for it but then I remember I have to go to work by 8am.

"Urghh! You both know i can't say no to cake but I'm only gonna be awake for 2hours" I drawl and they laugh in return. "I'm serious only two hours, got that!" I add with a point of my fingers, trying to deliver my point sternly and they nod in reply but then the mischievous glint in their eyes made me wary of the end results

Next Morning....

   Soft sighs were heard around the space but then it was disrupted by the loud blaring sound, erupting from the retro alarm clock, sitting at the bed drawer.

   "Can someone please turn that off", Ryder mumbles groggily

"Urgh Ryder it's closer to you," Kylie whines adding, "Just throw it against the wall or something,"

"What?" i sit up, the sound finally piercing through the sleep haze. "What time did we sleep because I'm so tired and can barely keep my eyes open?" I mumble with a yawn escaping .
