Camp- Wu and Garmadon

Wu and Garmadon are twins in this

It was the first day of summer. Garmadon and Wu are heading off to summer camp.

Summer Camp- Day One
It's early afternoon when the campers get to do their first activity, canoeing.

Garmadon and Wu climb into their boat, taking the oars from the camp leader. the boat bobs up and down slightly. Garmadon shivers slightly. 

"Are you okay brother?" Wu asks his older brother. 

"Y-year I'm fine," Garmadon replies. 

"Are you scared?" Wu asks. 

"What?!" Garmadon blows out slightly. "N-no of course I'm not scared."

Wu hums, "Hmm sure," Wu says sarcastically. 

The rest of the group climb into their canoes and they start their trip. 

"It's so pretty," Wu murmurs looking around.

"Yeah it is," Garmadon replies.  

The canoe boat tilts to one side, making Garmadon gasp in fear. 

"Brother, are you scared of the water?" Wu asks. 

"Don't be so absurd. I'm not scared."

The boat tilts dangerously to the left, making the teens nearly fall into the water. Garmadon screams and grips the side of the boat.

"Do you want to get out?" Wu asks gently.

"Y-yes please," Garmadon replies, shaking.  

They guide the canoe back to the shore and climb out. They take their lifejackets off, before Garmadon runs into their shared hut. Wu hands the lifejackets in before running after him. Wu walks into their hut.

"Brother, are you okay?" Wu asks.

Garmadon is sitting on the edge of his bed with his head in his hands. He murmurs something incoherently. 

"Brother?"

"I'm sorry," Garmadon murmurs.

"What are you sorry for brother?" 

"You were having fun out there and I made us come back."

Wu doesn't reply straight away. Instead he sits next to Garmadon and places a hand on his shoulder. 

"Why didn't you say anything? We could have done something else."

"R-really? You love water activities though."

"I do but I love to spend time with you too."

Garmadon hugs Wu tightly. 

"How about you decide what we do tomorrow?" Wu suggests. 

"Thank you. I'm not sure. C-can I decide in the morning?" 

"Your welcome and of course."

Summer Camp- Day Two

"Hey Wu, how about we go hiking today?" Garmadon suggests at breakfast. 

"That'll be nice."

After breakfast
The pair grab some hiking gear and set off.

"Where are we going exactly?" Wu asks.

"The mountains?" Garmadon requests.

"Sure," Wu replies, hiding his fear. 

Garmadon leads Wu up the mountain path. 

Half an hour later
The pair are about halfway up the mountain. 

"Let's go higher!" Garmadon yells over the wind. 

"A-are you sure?" 

"What's wrong?" Garmadon asks, sensing his brothers fear.

"It's...extremely windy," Wu lies, covering up his fear.

"Are you scared?" Garmadon asks, not in the teasing way Wu had yesterday, in an extremely sympathetic tone.

"Y-yes I am," Wu's eyes fill with tears.

"Why didn't you tell me? We could have done something else."

"I-I didn't want to disappoint you," Wu murmurs.

The wind picks up, tugging at the twins' clothes. A small rock falls off the mountain, by Wu's feet. Wu starts to shake as he steps away from the edge. He turns his face away from Garmadon, hiding the tears that are running down his face.

"Wu? Are you okay?"

Defeated, Wu shakes his head. Garmadon drops the walking pole and walks over to Wu, placing a hand on his back. Wu turns around and hugs Garmadon tightly. 

"Hey, it's okay brother. We can go back down if you like."

"W-we can?"

"Of course, I don't mind."

"T-thank you. W-what are we going to do when we get back?"

"There's an archery competition after lunch."

Wu laughs weakly. Garmadon smiles and rubs Wu's back.

"I'm going to beat you," Wu murmurs.

"I'd like to see you try," Garmadon taunts.

The pair chuckle and head back down the mountain.

The archery was a success. Wu won...by one point. Garmadon was annoyed but he was happy to see Wu happy. Summer Camp was a huge success.
