Seven deadly sins one-shots

Arden x Deldry

A huge fight against a few Albions some red demons and two or three grey demons

Most of the holy knights are there
Everyone from Gulia and Jericho to Gilthunder, Howzer and Griamor to, of course, the plietys of the Azure sky

Arden was up on a building and he noticed Deldry, she wasn't in direct danger but she obviously needed help

Arden had a rope with him, he tied it to one of his arrows
"Deldry" he called firing the arrow
She turned as it landed next to her with a thunk
She picked up the arrow and wrapped the rope around her wrist once, Arden yanked at the rope and she practically flew towards him

After getting her up onto the roof he turned back to the fight but he talked to her
"What's wrong? I normally wouldn't need to help you in a fight"
"I shouldn't be here"
"What?" He turned to face her
"My ability isn't made for direct fights"
"So? You still belong here"
"How so?" She looked at him quizzically as he turned back to the fight
"Well, Waillo won't fight very well unless he thinks he's impressing you"
"He'll still fight though" Arden sighed as he pulled back an arrow
"What if I told you" he released the arrow "you were the reason I fight"
"What?"
Arden noticed one of the Albions preparing to fire at them, he grabbed Deldry and started sliding Down the side of the building

he lands on the roof of a shorter house that was pretty much wall to wall with the house they were on before, he set her down and leaned back onto a wall
"Arden?...."
"You already know about how shitty my parents were"
"They never thought you were good enough right?"
"Correct, I became a holy knight in an attempt to gain their approval" he looked down at his shoes rolling a pebble around under his foot "it didn't work, obviously" Deldry tightened her grip on her staff "I wasn't doing good" Arden turned his back to her, grabbing an arrow and putting it in the bow "when Dreyfus put me in the plietys of the azure sky, I was about to give up" he tightened the bow
"G-give up? Wait you were going to-"
"Yeah" he released the arrow "but then, in the plietys of the Azure sky I met a certain someone who gave me a reason to fight" tears well up in Deldrys eyes "a reason to live" he turns around "Deldry-" but he gets cut off, her lips were pressed against his, her fingertips were resting on his jawline

She pulled away, her face flushed pink. His own face is a mask of suprise
"I- I'm sorry I-" this time, he cut her off, he wrapped his arm around her waist as they kissed, they pulled away, smiling
"You two done mashing faces yet?" Deathpeirce called from the ground, both Arden and Deldry started, their faces going red, an awkward giggle escaped Deldrys lips
"Yeah, we're coming down" Arden yelled, Deldry kept laughing
"What!" Waillo exclaimed.

Arden wrapped his arm around Deldrys waist, she put one of her hands on his shoulder the other on his chest as he slides down the side of the building to the rest of the plietys of the azure sky, they let go of each other
"Deldry! I was so so worried!" Waillo exclaimed to the girl, Arden purses his lips and stiffly walked past Waillo, Deathpeirce chuckles as Arden pauses next to him
"Waillo, let's go" Deldry and Arden look at him, confused "We're going to the castle, for a celebration of sorts" he explains to them

It had been hours, it was dark but the party was going well, most of the holy knights are drunk but Arden isn't, he's not the only underage person at the party but he's definitely one of the few. He was used to being the only sober person at a party but Deldry sat down next to him, he looks over at the girl
"So I know you can't drink but why are you being so antisocial?" She questioned, looking at the glass of water in his hand
"I see your not completely wasted" Arden deflected, she laughed
"Don't change the subject Arden" he sighed, a smile on his face
"Well I'm not particularly interested in interacting with a group of black out drunk knights" Deldry laughed
"Don't laugh, you used to be one of those" he joked and she giggles, fidgeting with her bangs

He smiles, Sliding his hand onto hers, their fingers intertwining, they smile at each other

After about 20 minutes of them talking it got to loud for them to hear each other

"Do you want to go on a walk?" Deldry practically screamed over the buzz, he nods as they both stand and walk out the door

They wander through the kingdom casually talking, joking and flirting

Arden takes Deldry's hand
"Hey Deldry"
"Hm?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" His  face is a bright crimson and he won't make eye contact
"Of course!" She grins are him, squeezing his hand

They kiss, in a passionate moment
They know their relationship is complicated and that they won't be able to tell others for the time being
But they know they can get through that
Because they have love, and that's all they need
