Chapter 24 - Passionate kiss

For a moment Austin's gaze moved from her body to their surrounding, there were many people around them which had him on high vigilance, he was constantly on the lookout for any hidden dangers.

When his eyes returned to Amara's figure he noticed her looking in a certain direction. He followed the direction of her eyes which landed on a stall selling cotton candy.

Her eyes sparkled with almost a childlike excitement, he couldn't help but think how cute she looked at this moment.

"It kind of... looks like that" she says while pointing at the clouds

He softly chuckled "Those are called cotton candy, they kind of look like clouds don't they?"

He had gotten used to Amara being ignorant about everything and so patiently explained.Austin took out his wallet from his back pocket and walked towards the stall.

Amara watched as he came towards her with the cotton candy in hand, as he continued to spoil her she couldn't express the tingly feeling that had been fluctuating inside of her.

She took a bit of the candy and instantly felt it melt in her mouth, she looked at Austin with her eyes wide in surprise.

"Mmph!"

He chuckled.

"It's gone!" She says in surprise, she opened her mouth to show that it did not contain any more of the candy.

With his fingers, he gently wiped the corner of her mouth, she blinked a couple of times before her cheeks went uncontrollably red for the first time in her life.

His deep chuckle coupled with his actions made the girls who were watching in the distance, legs weak. they quickly held onto whatever was near them to prevent them from collapsing.Amara took a deep breath, it didn't take long for her heart to calm down. After calming down her flushed cheeks returned to their ivory color and her erratic eyes reverted to her usual calm ones with no ripples.

She looked at Austin with her usual temperament as if what happened earlier was an illusion. While looking at him she couldn't help but feel her eyes be drawn to something behind him.

"What's that?"

She pointed at the giant wheel that easily overtook the buildings around it. The wheel that was flashing many colors instantly captured Amara's attention.

Austin reluctantly looked away from her and turned his head

"That's a Ferris wheel, I guess there's a fair today." He looked at Amara who was stared at the Ferris wheel with wonder "do you want to go?"

Amara immediately nodded her head, Austin silently chuckled at seeing how eager she was. The two headed towards the direction of the Ferris wheel and got them both tickets for the ride.The lady selling the tickets couldn't help but gawk at the beautiful couple, even after the two were on the ride she still tried her best to see a glimpse of the two.
