- (Y/N)'s POV -
As Elsa is calling for the voice, I am watching our backs making sure we are safe from anything. I turn back to Elsa to be smacked in the face by Gale.
Me: "Ow! Really Gale?"
Gale then flows through the air and around Elsa, guiding us ahead. Then Gale flies around a stagnant flag that allows it to flow once more. Elsa and I take a closer look and it seemed oddly similar to Arendelle's. We rush up the mountain that covered where the pole was stuck into and we discover an abandoned ship.
Elsa: "No it can't be. Its my mother's and father's ship..."
I wrap my arms around Elsa's waist as tears were slowly building up. She then unhooks herself and runs down towards the ship. I chase after her trying not to trip down the hill. We enter the damaged ship through a large hole and examine our surroundings.
Elsa: "Why is their ship here..? How is it here..?"
We continue to look around, questions building up in our heads. Elsa slowly turning the area around us colder.
Me: "There must be something that could give us a clue to why the ship is here."
Elsa: "That's it! We need to look for a waterproof compartment. Every ship from Arendelle has one."
I wanted to point out why didn't they make the ship waterproof, but I knew that it wouldn't be appropriate to point out at the moment. Looking around, I just had a sixth sense to check the wood for the couches. I tap a spot and suddenly it opens up to reveal a glass container.
Me: "Elsa! I found something."
Elsa quickly runs next to me and sits next to me. I open up the container revealing two pieces of paper. I unfold the first one revealing a bunch of symbols. I look at it a bit more seeing handwriting at the top left corner.
Elsa: "What language is this in? Why is my mother's handwriting here?"
Me: "Here let me read it. The end of the ice age. The river found, but lost. Magic source... Elsa's source. Wait whaaat?"
Elsa rips the paper from my hands. I sigh and grab the other paper on the ground to see what it is. I open it up to see a map.
Me: "Elsa look here, this map shows a path from Arendelle to.. Ahtohallan?"
Elsa: "A river. Ahtohallan is a place where it is said to hold all the answers about the past."
Me: "Waaaaait. So you're saying that Olaf and his random theory that water has memory, is actually somewhat plausible?"
Elsa doesn't say anything as she runs off into the middle of the room. She goes onto her knees and touches the floor. A icy mist coming from her hands went into the wood, then it started raining upside down?
Elsa: "I wanna know what happened to them."
All the water particles suddenly started forming a figure, wait no two figures holding each other. Then a feminine voice who I assume is Elsa's mother, Iduna, started to echo through the ship.
Iduna: "Ahtohallan has to be the source of her magic."
Then a second voice appeared, which is safe to say its Elsa's father's.
Agnarr: "We keep going for Elsa."
Iduna: "The waves are too high! Agnarr!"
Agnarr: "Iduna!"
Elsa then starts to sob and I quickly run to her. Before I could each her, she runs out and I chase after her.
Me: "Elsa!"
She stops at a nearby rock and starts to breath heavily. I turn her around slowly to talk to her face to face. She was crying.
Me: "Hey hey, I know what you're thinking but its not your fault."
Elsa: "It is my fault! They were looking for answers about me."
Me: "It's not your fault Elsa! Please don't blame this on yourself! It's unfortunate what happened with your parents but..." I pause, remembering what happened to my parents and how I never found the ones responsible for their deaths. I can feel my tears starting to form as I look at Elsa with a smile on my face. "They loved you and just wanted to help you..."
Elsa just looks at me, both of us with tears falling down our cheeks.
Elsa: "(Y/N)..."
Me: "Elsa, you're the key to everything. Everyone believes you can save Arendelle and free this forest." I kiss Elsa on the forehead and embrace her in a hug. "I believe in you."
Elsa: "Thank you (Y/N)."
We stayed in each other's arms for a moment. Wiping the tears and enjoying the moment. We then break the hug and I leave me hands on her hips.
Me: "Wait, do remember what you told me about what Honeymaren said about the fifth spirit? Do you believe we will be able to find answers at Ahtohallan?"
Elsa: "You're right... the answers about the past are all there."
Me: "So I guess we're heading to Ahtohallan then?"
Elsa: "Not we. Me"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Elsa: "The dark sea is too dangerous for us both."
I look at her in the eyes, she's right. I'd only be a hindrance to her since I have no powers to help her in anyway.
Me: "I guess."
Elsa looks at me confused, probably wondering why I gave up so easily.
Elsa: "That was surprisingly quick. Thought you would put up more of a fight."
Me: "Well with all the time of knowing you, I know you can be quite stubborn." I brush a hair strand aside that was covering her face. "And like I said, I believe you can do it. Just, don't go dying on me."
She chuckles and gives me a peck on the lips.
Elsa: "Yeah well, I do have some sort of motivation for me not to."
She winks at me and I groan. I swear to god she is full of surprises.
Me: "You are one weird girl."
She grins and elbows me lightly in the gut which causes me to grunt and lose a breath of air. I see her smiling and winking at me again.
Elsa: "I'm your weird girl."
Me: "You have a fair point. Now where do you want me to be while I await your return your majesty?"
She smacks me in the shoulder and laughs.
Elsa: "Wait with The People of the Sun and Lt. Mattias. I might need your help there."
Me: "Okay I will... wait how will you tell me if you need my help?"
She shrugs in response.
Elsa: "I don't know. Call it a gut feeling."
Me: "Okay Ms Gut Feeling, I will see you soon."
Elsa: "You will."
We embrace each other one more time for good measure. She snuggles her head into my chest and I kiss her on top of her head. Which she responds with giving me a quick passionate kiss.
Me: "I love you."
Elsa: "I love you too."
