Not Just a Force

Have you tried to touch it,
Felt that buzz in the air
Or your breast afire?
It's not just a force -- it touches.

Have you tried to hear it,
A blowing of wind,
A whispered voice within?
It's not just a force -- it speaks.

Have you tried to see it
In nature's stunning beauty
Or night sky's infinity?
It's not just a force -- it appears.

Have you tried to speak to it
When life falls apart
Or bursts with joy's light?
It's not just a force -- it listens.

Have you tried to name it,
To define what you feel,
And decide "what" or "who"?
It's not just a force --

I dare you to touch it
And to let him touch back.
