This book is based in the old West. It's about the life of two people of good standing, who, because of the wicked heart of man, have in some way walked weary of society.
Characters
The leading characters are to be described as determined. The male character is respectful and caring. The female is of a cheery disposition and appears weary of the dark and outsiders.
What I liked about it
The book has obviously been well edited.
Caleb is just the kind of character we like to root for.
What makes this story stand out the most however, is the mystery surrounding the lazy 8.
What I didn't like
Because I read on my phone I found the early chapters to be overly long.
Recommendations
Shorter chapters would be nice.
