Latte was a terrible liar, Arwin knew that for sure, she was never capable of telling him a lie, so when Arwin saw his wife's black bags under her eyes and asked her about her sleep he didn't believe her when she said "Oh hehe well it's just a little insonnia, it happens to me a lot" he had 2 reasons not to believe that statement, the first was that Latte's sleep was the faster he knew and the second one was that she was obviously lying.

So he kept on insisting. "Are you sure it's insonnia? Then I'll call a doctor right now"

"No!" Her nervousness was notorious.

"Why not? You're sick"
"I'm not sick I'm just getting problems to sleep"

They've already had that same discussion 4 times, that was the fifth time in the week that Arwin questioned her about her black bags under her eyes, every day the first thing in the morning that she would do is put makeup in that dark circles, he was tired of asking.

"Should I enter into my wife's mind for her to tell me truth?" He would never use such a method with her, but the mention of him being capable of enter her thoughts was enough to make her scared.

"I'm not lying!" Latte shouted that looking everywhere except Arwin's eyes, they were still en bed his arms around her waist and he was facing her, Latte always thought that Arwin's gaze was just too penetrating, red eyes were trying to catch her brown eyes.

"If not, then look at me properly" her eyes tried to look at him but she couldn't afford it for more than 3 seconds, then buried her face in his chest hugging him harder. He started playing with her hair,  feeling her inconsistent breathing in his chest it was weird to see her altered, her energetic personality was the thing he loved the most about her so seeing her like that maked him furious about whatever maked her like that.

"Then we both agree, you're lying. What happened?" There was a moment of silence between them Latte was organizing her thoughts and ordering her ideas of how to tell him what was in her mind these days, still she kept her position hugging Arwin.

"You know... About that past life thing I already told you about..."
"You being a sidekick in a novel? Well yes"

Latte sighed, the things she was about to tell him she never told them to anyone before, nor in her past life and nor in her present life, she have always avoided that thing about her life, but last week she received a letter from her present life parents, the Ectrie couple, and the thought about her first life chased her every day, sleep or awake, it was her trauma.

"In my first life my parents got divorced when I was young"
"What do you mean by divorced?" Arwin's question was fast. She tried to explain herself.

"In the world I lived back then, people who were married could be unmarried, the process is called divorce."
"Hmm"
"There are lots of reasons, but the main one was that the couple stop loving yet respecting each other"

Latte took a little break, Arwin's scent and the fact that she wasn't looking at him directly helped her a lot.

"My parents did that, they got divorced because they stopped loving each other. But that wasn't the main problem, the problem was that none of them wanted to keep me"

Her memories were fresh in her mind in that moment, her parents screaming that someone had to keep her but none of them wanting to.

"They fought a lot, at the end I stayed with my mom, but it was so clear for her that she didn't want me there"

At that point she was crying, her tears made a way from her face to Arwin's chest, the sensation of wetness broke his heart a little, Arwin was usually the person with the last word, but now he didn't have an idea of what to say.

"Time passed, she knew a new person and got together, they formed another family, and the fact that I didn't fit in that family was more obvious, so I left the house, studied and became a professional, a teacher"

"I can't imagine you teaching"

Latte laughed a little, she was a strict as a teacher, but outside the work she was the same Latte.

"I was strict" Arwin's hands were in her back, stroking her, trying to calm her, the tears falling calmly like raindrops, even he got to feel like crying.

"This week I received a letter from my parents, the Ectrie's, they're fine it was mom, she had a little fight with Dad, but now they're totally okay"

She got up from Arwin's arms and looked at him directly for the first time, showong him that crying face that she avoided showing, specially to him.

"I know they're fine, it's just that... I don't know, this past memories keep chasing me, day and night"
"Should I erased it from you?"

Latte laughed again, she knew Arwin was completely serious about that, after all he had already erased one tragic memory of her head, the only thing she could remember about being in the forest of dead was Arwin appearing to save her.

"No, this is part of me, if you erase this you'll erase part of my personality"
"Hmm..."
"I'm serious here!"

Arwin got her face closer and started kissing her eyes, the last tears falling through her face, she was more relaxed now, she felt more comfortable around now that she told him about her trauma, about the thoughts that make her sad.

"Arwin"
"Latte?"
"I want a baby"

And that was the second time in one day that Latte had the last word.
