The rest of 6th grade went by like a blur. Nothing really changed so I just adapted and got used to it. The only major thing that happened in 6th grade was me dating an 8th grader! But he was a dick so that a different story. This past summer was fun, Annie and I had spent a lot of time together, I felt like I had a place at her house.
7th grade! Everyone says it's the worst year...great!~~comment if it was your worst year of middle school~~ 7th grade is so stupid. I hate it. We don't have any new freedom we're still treated like little kids. why do all the teachers think we remember stuff from when we were in like 3rd grade? Annie,Kat, and I have been hanging out more frequently and we're getting to know each other! I love my friends at this school but almost everyday I find some way to think about all my old friends.
"Nikki!!!!" Sarah yelled. Sarah's my new best friend and I honestly couldn't ask for a better best friend. We do everything together.
"Sarah!!" We haven't seen each other in 2 days, the weekend, and this is how we greet each other. Wow! I wonder how break will end up.
"I missed you so much. " We said at the same time and laughed. Everyone hates when we're around each other because we basically only talk to each other. She's amazing!
This year we take FACS which is basically home ec. I'm so excited because I love to cook with my dad at home. But we also have tech Ed AKA wood shop, and for a 13 year old girl, wood shop sucks, plus the teacher is soooo annoying!!!
Literally nothing happens in 7th grade. Everyone still hates the same people. The same people are popular. The same people are friends. Awesome. This really has been the worst year of middle school so far. I can't wait till next year.
I'm so excited to be going to my uncles wedding! I get to get all dressed up and wear heels and extra makeup! I miss my family in Tennessee. The ceremony was beautiful and I cried of course. Then we went to the reception, and oh my god it was beautiful. White lights everywhere. Trees. Flowers. Low key locations. Beautiful decorations. And the bride and groom arrived in a horse drawn carriage. It was such a fun night and I'm so grateful i was there. The whole time we were at the wedding my older brother and I were dancing or my other uncle and I were dancing and everyone just had an amazing time.
After the wedding we all went camping like we used to do and went kayaking and swimming and I learned that big lakes and called the ocean when you live in a state with no ocean. My nanny picked my older brother, Nicholas, and I and drove us to her house in Kentucky and we stayed there for 2 weeks. We went swimming and bowling and my older brother got his first tattoo! I got to see my kitty for the first time in over a year, and also got to see my nanny a cat for the last time. ~~She died 4 months later.~~ when I got back home it felt great to sleep in my own bed again, but missed my nanny. The only thing that made me feel better was the fact that 8th grade started in 3 weeks. I never knew I'd be so excited for school to start again!
