eyes snapping open, [name] sat on the futon with a gasp. she stared at her hands. "i'm [name]! she's still alive!"

she wrapped her arms around her, sobbing in happiness.

chihiro approached the outside of her sister's room silently. she opened the shoji, "[name]—" words stuck inside her mouth and gazed at her crying sister with worry.

[name] turned at her, snot dripped down on her nose and crawled to chihiro creepily, "my sister! chihiro!" she cried.

chihiro slam the shoji door shut quickly and ran away.

"[name] has finally lost it." she told her grandma. "i'm leaving without her."

"she's lost it. she's completely lost it." chihiro kept muttering to herself while she put on her shoes. "scary." she left their household quickly as soon as possible.

"comet tiamat has been visible to the naked eye for a few days now. tonight, it will finally reach its perigee around 7:49 pm, and will achieve its maximum brightness."

[name] watched the tv with attentive eyes and ears, hands on her hips while she stood in her uniform attire. "it's tonight. there's still time."

"i also remember seeing strange dreams when i was a young girl." granny continued. [name] gaped silently, watching her. "although, now i've forgotten about whose life i was dreaming about."

"forgotten..." [name] muttered, taking the warm cup of tea that granny gave to her. "treasure the experience. dreans fade away after you wake up."

"there were times your mother and i had similar experiences."

"maybe those dreams that the ogino people had were all for what will happen today." [name] placed her cup on the chabudai gently.

"grandma, listen. a comet will strike itomori tonight and everyone will die." granny merely stared at her with a baffled face.
