Cole

She was wearing skinny jeans, her legs were so skinny. Her arms were so thin. Her face was pale, and she looked tired. I could see her collar bones sticking out.

All I could say was.... Bailey was... thin.

I ran and stopped in front of Bailey.

"Bailey... what happened?"

"I lost weight."

"How?"

"Well... I starved for a month... passed out... ate a bit and starved again..."

"Bailey! Why-"

"I'm done starving, Cole! I'm okay."

"I miss you."

She hugged me but it felt hollow so I pulled away.

"What's wrong? Aren't you happy?"

"C-can I just... I'll be back Bailey."

I left, I missed the old Bailey, now, it's hard to realize who she was. I felt like the most important thing in my life just escaped.

Bailey

What's up with Cole? Didn't he like my new body? I liked it. Maybe I did too much.

"Bailey!" My math teacher, Mrs. Hale snapped at me.

"Yes?"

"Are you even paying attention?"

"Yes."

"Then you'd be perfectly okay with answering this question."

"What question?"

Everyone in the class laughed.

"87×?=783?"

"Umm... I don't know..."

They laughed again. My face got hot and all I wanted to do was to crawl under my desk.

At lunch, I took a lot of food from the cafeteria so I could gain some weight because I don't think Cole liked it. Everyone stared at me like they didn't know me. But I was still the same me, Bailey Greyson.

Bailey Ashlynn Greyson.

"Bailey... why did you do this to yourself?" Cole asked.

I felt like crying, I couldn't even lose weight properly.

"Cole...." I called.

"Don't do this.. please."

"I stopped, I told you-"

"I know."

Nothing was the same after that, at least, not right away.

Cole

"Can you tell me something about your parents?" Bailey asked.

"Well... my mom has brown hair, and blue eyes... my dad has brown hair and hazel eyes... my mom has some trouble sleeping-"

"Does she have sleeping pills?"

"Yeah. She always has it beside her bed haha."

"Oh."

"My dad... he's got a lot of stress from work so I go fishing with him once a week. It really helps him get rid of stress."

"Hey.. wanna hang out some time?"

"What about... today? Where?"

"Your house....?"

"Sure."
