chapter thirty-two

I never knew telling a girl you love her gets her pissed. Avery hasn't talked to Kenzie since the show even though Kenzie tries so hard.

Avery's not been to Collin's, since, about a week before the show, and she seems a lot better.

I knock on her door and she, and surprisingly let's me in. "What's been going on? Are you okay?" I ask, as I lay on her bed

"I'm just pissy because of what Kenzie said." She says, I know it's a lie. "Oh, come on babe." I say pulling her next to me.

"Don't call me babe. And why would you tell everyone, Chas?" She says. "So everyone would know that your mine." I say. "I'm not anyone's, plus you love Kenzie, remember?" She says, pushing herself to the edge of the bed.

I roll her back so she's facing me, and also super close to me. "I might love you a bit more." I say, kissing her. She doesn't kiss back at first but then she does.

"You're a good kisser," I say, smirking.  "I always wanted you, but, not like this.
