Mid'haa's been taken too.
Their empty cells mock me, constant reminders I don't know what's happening to them.
Sometimes I think I hear them screaming, but it may only be that the empty dungeon and my mind are tricking me.
If I could just see him, her . . . If I could convince myself that he's all right . . . That she's alive . . .
The opening of the dungeon's door draws my attention away from Bently's cell, and when I look up, it's to find Odette smiling at me from the other side of the bars.
"Hello, Raggioet." She dangles an iron key between her fingers. "Are you ready to play?"
