"There's something else, I-", Hyunjin started, but ended in the middle of his sentence. He couldn't tell me that.

"What is it?", I asked.

"N-nothing", he mumbled.

"What is it Hyunjin?", I said now with more pressure. I looked him now dead in the eyes.
He looked to the ground.

"It's not that important."

"Hyun, it must be important."

"No, just forget what I said."

"Does is have something to do with Hani?"

It must have.

"(Y/n), I really can't tell you."

"Why? Why can't you tell me?"

"I can't tell you that either."

That really frustrated me. I wanted to know what he was talking about.

"If you really want me to cut off Hani, you should just tell me. When it's really that bad that it makes you talk like that about my friends, then just say it."

There was a silence between us for a few moments.
He still didn't said anything.

"You say I can't trust Hani. But how how am I supposed to trust you when you don't tell me anything?"

I looked him dead in the eyes.

He gulped. That must have scared him.

But I just continued staring.

He took a deep breath.

"I saw something at Minwoo's party", he said with a quiteter voice.

That must really have bothered him.

Minwoo's Party wasn't a really easy topic.

It was hard to talk about, for both of us.

"Tell me", I also spoke more softly. I didn't sounded that pissed anymore.

"Should I really tell you?", he asked worried.

I nodded.

"When- when I saw how Minwoo brought you inside of the room, I wasn't the only one who saw that. She saw it too. She stood there. I knew exactly that she knew what was going on, but she didn't do anything against it. She even ran away when I asked her if it was you."

Oh my god.

Okay that's serious.

"B-but I didn't wanted to tell you, because after you told me the thing with Chicago, I realized that it was exactly the same thing than with your ex-boyfriend. And you told me how broken you were and I just couldn't tell you, I didn't wanted you to be broken again."

I didn't answered.

For a few moments, it stayed silent.

I needed time to realize what he just said.

I couldn't really believe it.

"No, this can't be true, Hani would never do something like this." My voice was shaky, I couldn't really control it.

"Why would I lie?"

"I-I don't know. But she wouldn't do that, she is my friend."

This couldn't be true. And I didn't wanted it to be true. Why would she do that? She has no reason to do that. I trusted her.

"I don't know if you trust the right person", he said, as if he could read my mind.

"Hyunjin, why are you doing this? Why are you telling me this?", I asked, looking to the ground. I sounded a little bit more angry now.

My voice was even more shakier than before.

"I want you to be safe. You are not safe with her", he spoke softly.

"Hyunjin, what do you want? Why are you lying? What did she do to you?"

"(Y/n), it would make no sense if I lie. Why would I do this? I promise you, I'm telling the truth.

I looked up at him. When he saw the tears in my eyes, he looked surprised.

I don't know why I was crying.

I just felt like it.

It needed to get out.

The boy came closer and laid his arms around me.

He hugged me tightly.

His hugs just were the best.

They just made me feel safer.

But that didn't changed the fact that I didn't believed him.

It could be possible that he did tell lie.
But that doesn't mean that this is the truth.

Maybe it wasn't Hani, maybe it was another person.

He also drank. Maybe he didn't recognized her.

But I didn't wanted to tell him that I don't believe him.

When I would, we would just fight over that. I argue with him now, I don't have the nerve for that, so I kept staying silent and let me hug.

In this moment, I just wanted to never get out of this hug.
He should stay with me.

Forever.

But that was just ridiculous.

I'm not the only thing in his life.

He won't always stay with me.

I'm just an unimportant girl in his life.

And this hug has to end.

Even when I didn't wanted to.

He looked at me.

"Are you Okay?"

I nodded slowly.

I just won't tell him that I don't believe him.
