SHIRABU KOTA
"did i hear it right?
you spent all your
allowance in just
two days?!"

kota一 kenjirou's dad, slammed his hands on his table, nearly making his wife jump out of her skin. kenjirou rolled his eyes which ticked his father more.

SHIRABU KOTA
"how dare you roll
your eyes at me!
do you think i'm
joking, kenjirou?!"

kenjirou's mother一 hayami stood up and went beside her husband, trying her best to calm him down.

"it's not a big deal.
it was literally just
half of my
usual allowance."

kenjirou answered. the look on his father's face almost, almost scared kenjirou off, but he was used to it by now.

everytime he did something bad as a kid, his father would lecture him like this all the time.

SHIRABU KOTA
"that's it, i've had
enough of your
behavior! you are
going to live by
yourself from now on!
no allowances! nothing!"

kota's face was red from anger. both hayami and kenjirou's eyes widened. his father got mad at him before, but not to this extent.

"you must be joking, dad.
it's not even that deep!"

kenjirou's voice raised. his mother shook her head, gesturing him to not talk back anymore or things will get worse.

SHIRABU KOTA
"i don't know what
to do with you
anymore, kenjirou."

his father stood up and was about to walk out of the room but he stopped by the door to talk,

SHIRABU KOTA
"make sure to find
a place to stay first
thing in the morning."

he said, never facing them. he then walked out until his figure wasn't seen.

kenjirou just stood there with his mouth shut, staring at his father's chair. his mother went to him and started rubbing his arms in an attempt to comfort him.

SHIRABU HAYAMI
"kenjirou, you
shouldn't have
talked back like that."

his mother's voice was soft. it sounded nothing like his father's.

ever since he was a kid, his mother was always there to comfort him everytime his father would scold him.

he actually felt it was unfair how a small mistake of his would make his father mad, while his brother could get away with anything.
