Hierarchy High Student Handbook
SECTION I – Student Classification System
Welcome to Hierarchy High. To ensure order, excellence, and tradition, our student body follows a structured five-tier classification system. Each student is assessed and assigned a rank that determines access, privileges, and responsibilities within campus grounds.
1. Supremes
The highest and most confidential tier. Members of the Supremes are chosen through the Royal Ascension, a private and highly selective process. Their identities are not publicly disclosed. Supremes oversee major decisions, events, and disciplinary actions. Their word is final.
2. Crowns
Recognized leaders in academics, extracurriculars, and social influence. Crowns are visible, respected, and often serve as the face of the school. They are eligible for exclusive classes, private lounges, and early college endorsements.
3. Ranks
The general student population. Ranks are responsible for maintaining strong academic performance and participating in school-wide events. With consistent achievements, Ranks may be considered for Crown eligibility.
4. Shadows
Students who prefer minimal involvement in public school activities or who have yet to meet Ranks-level qualifications. Shadows are allowed full attendance and academic participation, but receive limited privileges.
5. Ghosts
Students classified as Ghosts have lost standing due to behavioral violations, academic decline, or social removal. They are restricted from most events, organizations, and competitions. Ghost status is rarely reversed.
NOTE:
Movement between tiers is rare and must be approved by the Student Council and faculty advisors. Attempting to cheat or manipulate the system will result in immediate demotion to Ghost status or expulsion.
Respect the system. Protect the hierarchy. Earn your place.
SECTION II – The Royal Ascension
The Royal Ascension is a ceremonial and confidential selection process used to determine the next generation of Supremes. It takes place annually and is overseen by the existing Supremes and select faculty. No student may apply. Selection is based on influence, performance, and loyalty to the system. Details of the process are strictly off-record.
Students chosen through the Royal Ascension are sworn to secrecy and receive guidance from the Legacy Board—a group of former Supremes who continue to monitor school affairs post-graduation.
SECTION III – The Student Council
The Student Council is composed of elected representatives from Crowns and Ranks. The President and Vice President are traditionally Crowns, though exceptions have occurred. Council duties include:
• Approving event proposals
• Mediating disputes
• Reviewing student rank petitions
• Coordinating Climb Week
Council members serve one academic year. Council elections are held every third quarter.
SECTION IV – Climb Week
Climb Week is Hierarchy High’s most anticipated annual event. Over the course of one week, students from Ranks and Shadows compete in academic challenges, social tasks, and physical activities to earn points. Top performers may receive a temporary promotion in rank, while the lowest performers risk demotion.
Ghosts may not participate in Climb Week.
SECTION V – The Fallout
This section has been redacted.
(Students are advised not to inquire further. Disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found spreading or creating rumors related to the event.)
SECTION VI – Code of Conduct
• Respect your rank and the ranks of others.
• Do not impersonate, expose, or investigate Supremes.
• Participation in school events is mandatory for Ranks and Crowns.
• Ghosts are to remain in designated areas during major events.
• Breaking rank rules results in automatic demotion or expulsion.
Failure to comply with any part of this handbook may result in disciplinary review by the Student Council and the Disciplinary Oversight Committee.
Hierarchy High is not responsible for social conflicts, political alliances, or unofficial group activities formed by the student body.
Maintain excellence. Preserve tradition. Know your place.
