He was angry with how long she had been absent. Unknowing when she may return, if at all. Sera chirped again as sisters, helped pull her tired aching body deeper into crashing waves. The beauty of her body shimmer with flicks of light from sunrays, each one more stunning than the last. Her natural pull towards her own kind grew stronger with each passing of a wave; icy waters were not a refuge from what she once thought to be harsh as a human.
Sera looked once more to growing number of humans; they nearly covered every grain of sand. With that final look, Sera turned back towards the man who continued to rumble for her affection. She once thought him to be uninterested in her, his lack of attention proved her to be right once upon a time. But now, after having been kidnapped, he seemed to have awoken something deep within his blood thirsty heart.
She chirped showing fangs before diving into a deeper wave, working her body in motions she’d thought were lost, Sera rolled her tail harder. Each pump pushed her closer to him. She gave a bubbled gasp to see him returning such powerful movements, in order to become closer to her. He circled, as if she was prey, but more so with kinder eyes. Upon examining her, he was also making sure his beloved wasn’t harmed, having already smelt her blood.
Many of her sister-ing kin left the surface, wanting to catch a glimpse of the royal reuniting. Carefully he placed his palm to Sera’s cheek, gently moving her closer to his own swaying fin. Dark eyes captured hers, never wanting to allow for breaking. Sera allowed a tear to bead, as it began to fall towards corals, he caught it. Manipulating it with his own generous power. The ring formed was nothing but stunning, having the pearl as the center piece, he also added in shimmering shell pieces which held the whole of the ring together for Sera.
Smiling over joyed to be back with her kin, Sera moved till her body pressed against his own. She gave a light blush to his tail intertwining with her own. An action in which was very intimate between lovers. It showed affection, trust but mostly love. Sera had thought he’d not even notice her missing, she even wondered if he would search for her. Wait while she was gone, maybe never to return again from that human males home.
But all her fears were put to rest the moment he held her, rumblings from his chest were indicators of his anger towards the human. He seeked to avenge her, to prove his undying love for Sera. With arms securely wrapped around broad shoulders, Sera graciously rubbed her cheek to his. A calming affect washed over his dark eyes, returning them to a more gentle state of mind. To have a lover with his kind of power, Sera knew he’d never allow her from his sights again. But that is what her sisters looked for.
It was more than just a show of dominance to them, a kind of affection that so very few creatures above seas had. They took pride in guarding their loved once, just as much as they did for any other sea creature. Each having their own way of doing things, was how every waters being survived. Without balance there is nothing but chaos.
Above waters, near that same patrol car stood a man with darkened eyes. He watched Sera’s kin, the way they moved and sang to one another. Almost as if he understood. Turning ever so slightly to the human had captured her, he grinned devilishly with hidden points on to back teeth. Raising a brow to the dark eyed man, Sera’s capture gulped to seeing such similarities in the male who had called for Sera. They almost seemed to be related in how closely they were in looks.
Turning away from the human male, the man in a tailored suit smiled over the ocean view. He’d never tell his secret tale, nor would anyone know but him and his fellow kin of this day. A calming silence fell over the beach, each human present turned to face the nicely dressed man. Without warning his eyes shifted, sending a power ripple though each human’s body.
Allowing the vibrations to slither up their feet, entering their souls, before washing away any trace of what this day had brought to memories. Passing the male a smirk, he pulled even darker shades over his eyes, shoving both hands into deep pockets his lips pulled taught whistling an old sailor’s tune. Under the watchful eyes of one Siren, hidden deep behind a rock, lay to the only witness besides himself. She dove back into dark waters, leaving the bewildered humans to figure out on their own, as to why they all stood stupidly along the ocean shores.
It is said if you close your eyes, on a cool day, you can almost hear the rumblings of the Great white male. His calls are matched with light whistles from his lover, as she is expressing her undying love for the only man she ever truly loved.
As for that human, he was charged with numinous accounts of criminal actions, in which couldn’t be explain by anyone. All but one man, who was never seen again on those shores.
