Beomgyu didn't come to school today. He didn't text me. I even waited for him and missed the bus, I almost got late. He also didn't reply to my messages.

Was it really because of what I said yesterday? I don't think he got mad about it, now did he? We always fight and tease each other. There's no way he'd be mad for that little joke... Did I go overboard?

Though we always fight, I can't help but be worried. I hope he's not sick... 'cuz he whines a lot and it hurts my ears.

"Sorry," I immediately said when I bumped to someone. That's the reason why you should look where you're going when climbing up the stairs. I looked up and saw a familiar face.

"Oh? Aeji-noona!" he greeted with a bright smile.

"Oh! Huening-ah! What brings you here?" I asked.

"So you study here," he said and I nodded. "I'll transfer here. I was nervous with the thought of moving to a new school but knowing that noona studies here too, I was kind of relieved."

"That's cool! We'll get to see each other often," I said.

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to see you guys, especially Yeonjun-hyung."

My smile faded when he mentioned Yeonjunㅡ he doesn't go to school. And more importantly, he is not enrolled in our school. And most importantly, he ain't even from this planet.

"U-uh... Ah right! I need to bring these books to the library. See you later!" I said and sprinted to the library before he could add more.

That was a close one.

For the whole six monotonous hours that was left, I realized that Beomgyu... is a loud human.

"Kang Taehyun," I called Taehyun without batting an eye at him. We're on our way to the bus stop. "Am I a bad friend?"

He chuckled before saying, "yeah, you are."

Sigh. I guess I really am. Taehyun said so. Whatever he says is right. That hurts so fine.

"Do you know why Beomgyu didn't come today?" I asked more.

He stopped walking and so did I.

"Y-You didn't know?!" His eyes widened in surprise.

At that moment, my heart dropped.

"K-Knew what?"

I'm nervous. What am I supposed to know? Why isn't he telling me anything? Why are we like this? Is he okay? Is he sick? Did anything happen? Why am I panicking-

"He's at the hospital-"

"What?! Why?! What happened!? Why didn't you tell me earlier?! Since when was he there? Tell me what happened!"

Taehyun blinked multiple times while I was shaking him and then I stopped. It was tiring, he's a giant.

"Noona, he had his check-up. Didn't he tell you?"

Oh, right. I forgot to check my phone after I arrived at schoolㅡ I put it on silent mode. Didn't even wonder why I didn't get any notifications, 'cuz what's there to wonder? There really ain't anyone who texts me.
