"What'd he want?"

"He wants me to meet him at the park so we can talk, and I told him I would."

"I wanna hear what he has to say. Will you come with me?"

"Yeah, let's go."

He helped me off the couch, got his keys, and we went to the park.

When we got to the park, Devin was sitting at one of the tables with a little boy. I'm pretty nervous because I don't know what his intentions are but since there's a kid with him, I'm assuming he won't get too crazy.

"Hey Bri," Devin said, trying to give me a hug.

"Hi," I said, taking a step back.

He nodded at Blake and Blake nodded back.

"Who's this?" I asked, looking at the little boy who was smiling at Blake & I.

"Bri, it's Tray," Devin said.

"Tray as in Trayvon? Your son?" I asked.

I haven't seen Trayvon since he was two years old. As much as Devin got on my nerves, I loved Tray.

"Do you remember me?" I asked.

"Kinda," he smiled. He then looked at Blake, and I think he got shy.

"You know who that is?" I asked.

"Blake Griffin."

"Why don't you say hi. He loves kids," I said.

He nervously walked up to Blake, which made Blake smile.

"Hi. You're my favorite basketball player," Trayvon said, "Daddy, can I take a picture with Blake Griffin?"

"You gotta ask him, man," Devin chuckled.

He looked up at Blake and he agreed to take the picture. Afterwards, Trayvon went to go play and Blake & I sat down.

"So, what'd you wanna talk about?" I asked.

"I'm just gonna come right out and say it; I love you, Briana. I know I messed up, but I need you back," Devin said.

Is this real life?

I was leaning on Blake's leg, so I felt when his body got tense.

"Blake & I are engaged, Devin, and I'm having his baby. What we had was six years ago. I'm with Blake and I'm happy."

He slammed his fist against the table and I jumped, causing Blake to put a protective arm around me.

"We should be the ones engaged and that should be my baby," Devin stated.

When he said that, I'm not gonna lie, it upset me and pissed me off at the same time.

"Devin, we were gonna have a baby, but I lost her and you weren't even there for me. You were constantly cheating on me with the one person I hated the most, so there's no way we could've been married with kids."

"I know and I'm sorry about that," he said, "if I could go back and change everything, I would."

"But you can't," I said softly, "I'll never forget what you did, but I do forgive you."

"Do you...regret ever meeting me?" he asked hesitantly.

"No," I said, making Blake tense up for the second time today.

Devin lowered his head and smiled a little. He probably didn't think I noticed, but I did.

"Well, we gotta go," he said, standing up, "but thank you for meeting me."

"No problem."

I gave him a hug, he dapped Blake and we said bye to Trayvon before we went our separate ways.

I could tell something was bothering Blake, but he wasn't telling me anything. He was biting his nails and he never does that, which made me believe something was wrong.

"Hey," I said getting his attention.

He stopped biting his nails and looked at me.

"What's wrong?"

"Blake, I know when you're lying. Talk to me," I said, moving closer to him.

"You said you don't regret meeting Devin. Well, this might be rude, but how come?"

I simply smiled at the nervousness behind his question, "because if I wouldn't have met Devin, I wouldn't have turned into that disrespectful girl that my parents sent out that summer, and we probably would've never met. We wouldn't be engaged or about to have a baby so in a way, I'm actually kinda thankful for him."

He smiled a little and I kissed his cheek, "now cheer up. Brooke doesn't like when her Daddy's upset."

"I've been calling her different names to see which one I like the most but ultimately, the choice is still yours."

He kissed my temple and we just spent the rest of the day together.
