"The under 18's team" Ushijima x oc

Chapter 2

Y/n POV

Ahhhhhh I'm late I'm late I'm late fuck I'm late i need to go right now. I gathered all my hair and put it in a kawaii pony tail and slid in two lilac hair clips just for style ,I grabbed my bag ,lunch box and ran out the door with my phone in hand trying to figure out when the train leaves.

I managed to make it to the school on time even though going on the train really took up most of my time.

Maybe I should jog to school everyday and then I wouldn't have to go on a jog when I get back from school.

Anyway when I got into school some teacher guided me to the office where I got a timetable with my lessons but strangely all in the same room except for gym and then a student from the same class as me was assigned to show me around.

Since I was coming from the uk the years in education were different and I was put in the 2nd year if highschool which was fine with me. The girl who was assigned to me was very sweet ,she had short brown hair and porcelain skin, she was called Akari.Luckily she was super friendly.

After the tour had taken place I realised how big the school actually was and that it had many separate buildings within the campus including dorm rooms which Akari told me she stays in.

It was the start of a new term so it wasn't exactly strange for a new student to transfer but there was an exception for me because I was a foreigner and everyone decided they wanted to meet me and so this meant that when I was in class I was swarmed with stares of everyone.

Our home room teacher was named Mrs hinata ,she had bright orange hair which looked like only she could pull it off.

During homeroom Mrs Hinata announced that everyone was required to join a club and that got the class rattled with excitement, discussion overtook the class and everyone was telling their friends what clubs they wanted to join.

Since my only friend was Akari she was telling me about what clubs she wanted to join but then claimed that she couldn't join any because she was the manager of the boys volleyball club.

Now this is what sparked my interest, after many questions about how great they were ,she told me that she would take me to the girls try outs since it was in the same gym as the boys volleyball try outs.

The rest of the school day was pretty normal and then at the end of the day Akari took me to get changed into my shorts and top and knee pads. When we walked into the gym all of the attention seemed to be on me and Akari

"why are they staring at us Akari "

"umm correction they are staring at you not me"-Akari

I mean I don't think there was anything wrong with me I mean my chest was slightly over average but other than that I was just like every other girl.

" she is smoking"

a few boys from the stands said accompanied by whistles and as they said that I shot them a death glare with all my soul in it and they turned silent.

With everyone staring at me I walked to the girls coach and said I was here to try out. It was just like any other try out except they kind of fixed my position as soon as I said that I was on the Japan team and then I was basically helping the team to hold the try outs for the other girls.

I became the official Libero of shiratorizawa girls volleyball team and I was quite happy with that. At the end of try outs they announced who got in and who didn't and the ones who got in stayed for a friendly welcome match.

Well that was what I thought, we were actually going against the boys team for a friendly and the newest players were on the starting line ups which meant I was playing first. I was not shy but I also didn't really feel like playing the boys today and as much as I talked to Akari to let me go home she was adamant that I play because she and the boys wanted to see how a girls Japan team member played.

The whistle blew and there captain served. And that captain seemed to be no one other than the olive boy. The other players called him ushiwaka I suppose his name must be ushiwaka .

For a friendly match there sure was alot of people and everyone was shouting service ace and I knew full well I sure as hell would not let any one I play get a service ace. When I saw who was serving I prepared my self for a powerful and when I saw the crushing power that was travelling with it it made me want to receive it even more.

I didn't really realise how much power was in the serve because when I went to receive it it completely bounced off my hands and went out. I just stood up and prepared myself for the next one .

I was quite annoyed at myself for giving away a point right in he beginning but what the heck who cares. As I was waiting for the next serve I realised everyone was frozen and looking at me in shock

"HOLY FRICK SHE RECEIVED USHIWAKA'S SERVE ON THE FIRST TRY"

and when that was said the crowd erupted into cheers . I wasn't too sure whether they were for me or not but on the next serve ushiwaka looked me dead in the eyes and gave a seductive smirk my way and then served.

Whilst blushing and a bit confused I received it with ease and after a perfect set the captain of the girls slammed it down on the other side with so much force it left the gym echoing.

This is when I realised that I was on a great team . The match went on for about 30 mins and resulted in a tie which everyone was shook by but I thought it was a pretty fair game seeing as though it was boys vs girls and they easily trumped us in height.

After the match Akari went with me to get changed back into my uniform but the remembered she had to meet someone so I had to leave on my own but when I went to make my way out of the school gates I saw ushiwaka there waiting. Was he waiting for me ...... ?
