Oh yes! They were kissing. So balik tayo don nang saglit.

TWO-GETHER

May kumatok.

Pero parang wala silang narinig. Initially, Sarah's back was against the wall. But after a while, one of Bamboo's hand was already holding her back, while his other hand was pressed against the wall.

May kumatok na naman.

"Wai.." Sarah said while kissing. "Me tao..."

"Thas k. They won com in...." Bamboo said in between kissing.

"Wait muna...." Sarah slightly pushed Bamboo away. "Hindi ako makahinga." Nahihiya nitong sabi.

"I'll count to ten. Ready when you are." Bamboo said while he was kissing Sarah from her cheek up to her ear.

Tuloy pa din ang pagkatok sa pinto.

"Who's that?"

"Pancho." Ang sabi ng boses sa labas.

Nag-ayos muna silang dalawa. Hindi alam ni Sarah kung uupo siya sa kama or uupo siya sa sofa. Tumayo na lang siya malapit sa bintana. Si Bamboo naman ay naupo sa kama.

"Come in."

"I think makakaalis tayo in an hour. Ang problema, ang daming nurses sa labas." Ang sabi ni Pancho.

"Why?" Tanong ni Bamboo.

"Why? Siyempre andito ka." May iba pang napansin si Pancho pero hindi na lang siya nagsalita. Kaya lang dahil na rin sa tagal nang pagsasama nila ni Bamboo, kabisado nila ang gestures ng bawat isa. Hindi lang gestures. Pati ang kulay ng labi. Na ngayon, mamula-mula na. Napayuko na lang siya sa iniisip.

"Did someone see Sarah?"

"Sa tingin ko wala. Walang tao sa nurse station kanina when she walked in. And hindi naman kita yung room mo from the nurse station."

"Great. It has to be Sarah first, ok?"

"Ok. Babalik ako."

"Fine. Lock mo yung door. Baka may pumasok na nurses." Pahabol ni Bamboo.

"Yeah right!" Sabi ni Pancho. "Dapat talaga naglolock ng pinto sa mga panahong ganito."

"Shut up, Panch!!"

Pagkalabas ni Pancho. Sumunod pa si Bamboo sa door to make sure it was locked. Then after that, he walked towards Sarah.

"One hour..." Nanunukso nitong sabi kay Sarah. "So....where were we?"

He held her so tight, and started kissing her on her cheek, her head, down to her ear then on the side of her neck. He raised his head and then, they were forehead to forehead. He kissed her. It was quick but their eyes were still closed when their lips parted. Again, forehead to forehead.

"Is it a yes?" He asked.

She could feel the warmth of his breath against her face. His voice lingered in her mind. It was gentle like the kisses they shared minutes before that. She felt safe like that, like nothing could go wrong.

"Kinakabahan ako." She said.

"Ako din..." Nakangiti nitong sabi sa kanya.

"Walang biro. Kinakabahan ako."

"Scared? Nervous?"

"Both."

"I told you. Me too."

"Sa madaming bagay. Paano kung mali to? Kung magbago isip mo? Ang dami ko pang tanong. Ang dami daming tumatakbo sa utak ko. Kapag may naisip akong isa, may kasunod ulit."
