It had been 2 days since Venus and Clover arrived and Josh hadn't spoken to Venus because he felt hurt, not because of her but he felt like being around her would increase his feelings for her.
Venus really liked josh but she was scared of rejection and told him she didn't like him.

Since josh wasn't talking to Venus, she started getting closer with Quinton. She hadn't spoken to him before coming to sway house but they got along really well. He was really nice and they had a lot in common.

Josh was quite jealous of them but didn't show it. He tried to stop thinking about Venus hoping he would lose feeling for her. But it wasn't working he fell for her too hard and now he can't get back up.

Josh went to the kitchen to get a snack. as he walked into the kitchen he saw Venus and Quinton on the couch talking and laughing. As he kept his gaze on the two his plate slipped out of his hand falling to the ground and smashing into pieces.

This caused Quinton and Venus to turn their heads.
"Josh are you ok?" Venus asked getting up.

"i'm fine" Josh said bending down to pick up the pieces.

"let me help" Venus said walking over and bending down.

"i said i'm fine" josh said slighty raising his voice.

Venus got back up looking at josh.
"what is up with you, you've been acting so off since i got here?" Venus asked causing Josh to sigh.

"i like you Venus, i have for ages"

Venus stood in shock "i-"

Before she could finish josh placed all the pieces of the plate in the bin before heading upstairs.

Venus didn't know wether she should follow him or not so she just sat back on the couch putting her head in her hands

" i didn't know he liked me" Venus mumbled.

"you didn't? it was so obvious" Quinton replied cause Venus to look at him and give him an angry stare.

" you're not helping"

"sorry" he replied.

"i'm gonna go talk to him"

Venus got up off the couch and jogged upstairs heading to josh's room. She knocked on the door but didn't get a response so she opened the door to see josh sat on the end of his bed rocking back and forth with his arms around his chest.

"josh?" Venus said.

Josh looked up not saying anything. He looked back at the floor ignoring her. Venus sat down next to him. They sat there for awhile before anyone said anything.

"you didn't let me finish before, what i was going to say is i like you too"

This made josh look and Venus, she stared at eachother for awhile their faces slowly getting closer before their lips interlocked with eachother.

After a couple of seconds they both pulled away with smiles on their faces.

"awee" they both heard. they both looked at eachother in shock before turning to to doorway and seeing Clover and Jaden stood in the door way.

They both laughed and Clover and jaden walked away.

"So what does this mean?" Josh asked turning back to Venus.

"I don't know, i don't want to rush into things again. i know you wouldn't hurt me but with my past i want to take it slow"

Josh nodded knowing what she had previously been through. He would never hurt her but he knew she needed time.

They both hugged and headed back downstairs to join everyone.

"so are you guys a thing now?" Clover asked Venus as she sat down on the couch.

"Not yet"

Clover nodded knowing why aswell.
