*1 week later*

Venus and Clover packed the bags getting ready to go to sway house. It was the summer so they had no college so they were going to stay there for a while.

Venus hadn't really spoken to josh that much last week but she was excited to see him. She still didn't properly know her feelings for him but she knew she definitely liked him more than a friend.

Venus helped pack Clovers stuff whilst she was in the shower. Clovers phone pinged and Venus picked it up to see what it was.

'what plan?' Venus thought to herself.

She unlocked clovers phone and scrolled through the group chat.

"so josh doesn't actually like me?" she sighed setting down Clovers phone and continued packing.

After awhile Clover got out the shower and came back to the bedroom to finish packing.

"your phone went off, thanks for lying to me" Venus said not turning her head from her suitcase.

"Venus, we only did it because it's obvious you too like eachother but none of you will admit it"

"what if Josh is telling the truth about being just friends, did you really want me to get hurt again!"

"of course not, i'm sorry"

"just don't talk to me"

the whole trip to La Venus ignored Clover, after an awkward 4 hour drive they finally arrived at the sway house.

Clover knocked on the door and Jaden answered. Jaden wrapped Clover in a hug and Venus went inside not wanting to talk to Jaden either. Josh came running downstairs after hearing the door knock seeing Venus at the top of the stairs.

"Venus!" he shouted running over the her and giving her a hug

"hey"she sighed.

"what's up?" josh asked a concerned looking appearing on his face.

"Jaden, Bryce and Clover lied to us" she said.

Josh looked at her confused and Venus explained what happened.

"oh so you don't like me?"

"well, no" Venus lied. she was worried that if she told the truth she would get rejected.

"oh" 

"i'm going to unpack" Venus said taking her suitcase and walking up to the spare room.

shortly after Clover did the same and Jaden walked over to Josh.

"why would you lie to me, you know how i feel about Venus"

"she told you?" jaden asked.

Josh nodded.

"it was Clovers idea, you guys obviously both like eachother but you're both too scared to admit it"

"of course i like her, she's amazing. But she just told me she didn't like me"
