Venus sat in her bed scrolling through instagram when she heard her door fling open. She looked up to see Clover standing at her door.
"what?" Venus asked jokingly.
"sooo i was on the phone with jaden, and he said josh wouldn't stop talking about you and how much he likes you" Clover said sitting at the end of venus' bed.
"really?" Venus felt her cheeks turn a bright red but tried to cover it up with her hands.
"yea, i told you he liked you"
Clover walked out the room and Venus just sat there and smiled. Josh always felt different then most of her other guy friends but she never realised why, but now she realised she liked him.
*sway house*
Josh, Jaden, and Bryce were all sat by the pool. It was a hot day so they were enjoying the cold water.
"You know, i think Venus really likes you" jaden said.
Josh turned his head to face Jaden.
"omg when will you realise we're just friends"
"hear me out, she acts different around you. i've known her for a long time and she's never acted like that to anyone but you"
"so it doesn't mean she likes me"
"yea but Clover told me she always talks about, like non stop"
"you really think she likes me"
"yea i do" Jaden and Bryce both got up heading back inside, high fiving once they were out of Josh's sight.
Josh sat there and smiled, he really liked Venus but was always too scared to admit because he didn't think she liked him back. He knew her past and how she promised herself never to fall in love again, but they more they got to know eachother the more he fell for her.
