Taehyung hadn't expected Jungkook to be as chill as he was considering earlier that night he was on a stage with a cocky smirk and a voice that could melt anyone into a puddle.

But now, standing out on the terrace of a stranger's apartment, he felt unexpectedly comfortable with him.

Taehyung checked his phone to see if Bambam texted him, which he hadn't, though he noticed the time and he knew he was supposed to be home by then, and he was going to get a lot of shit from his parents when he got home.

He cursed under his breath seeing he lost track of time, which seemed to have catch Jungkook's attention, who looked over with concern.

"What's up?"

Taehyung shook his head and straightened himself. "It's past my curfew, I have to go find my friend, he's my ride." He turned to go find Bambam, but before he could say anything he felt a hand on his arm.

"Uh- I can drive you home," Jungkook said quite quickly before taking his hand off Taehyung's arm and placing it behind his head, where he rubbed his neck with a nervous chuckle. "I mean, if you want."

Taehyung eyed him with scrutiny, before nodding. "Sure, let me just text my friend."

"Cool." He smiled. "I just have to go get my stuff, be right back."

Jungkook walked inside, a bounce in his step that Taehyung hadn't noticed before, and the brunet went inside as well, shooting Bambam a quick message that he didn't have to worry about him before looking around for Jungkook.

He saw him talking to one of his bandmates, Yoongi, Taehyung remembered, both of them seemingly shouting to each other in whispers, arguing as Jungkook held out his hand.

Taehyung stepped a bit closer, hearing Jungkook say, "Just let me borrow it, I promise I'll bring it back." And when he was handed some keys, Taehyung understood and couldn't help but laugh to himself.

He considered the premise that Jungkook was trying to impress him, but shouldn't it be the other way around? Jeon Jungkook doesn't have to try to impress anyone, he can do that by a wave of his finger, but Taehyung couldn't shake the amusing thought.

"Ready to go?" Jungkook asked, walking up to him with a charming smile, swirling the keys around his index finger.

"Yea," Taehyung's lips curled up into a soft smile unknowingly, and Jungkook motioned his head for him to follow, which he did.

They arrived at the car, which looked a bit old, the deep navy worn a bit, both of them getting on their respective sides.

"Which way do I go?" Jungkook asked, pulling out of the parking lot and to the exit of the complex.

"Left." Taehyung said, and they began to drive.

The silence was a bit awkward, so Taehyung decided to start a conversation.

"Who's apartment was that?" He asked, turning to look at Jungkook who was extremely focused on driving.

"Yoongi's."

"The one who plays the keyboard, right?"

Jungkook dipped his head. "That's the one."

Taehyung smirked, raising an eyebrow. "And I'm guessing this is his car too?"

"Yep."

Taehyung laughed, and not missing the way Jungkook smiled, biting his lip afterwards, and then speaking again.

"So um... Who's your friend, that you came to the show with?" He questioned, his expression showing curiosity, but he refused to even glance at Taehyung.
