I - Uneventful, As Usual

I was out the whole Sunday after attending the mass in church. Monday came and I'm supposed to be meeting with my editor for my new book. I frowned. Meeting with my editor means I have to ditch dinner with Nicholas.

I sighed for the fourth time before finally driving to the direction of my school. I always go to school an hour early as a routine since I've always wished to uphold my flawless attendance. I wasn't really that uptight back in junior high school. I just want to fix myself now that I've been given two years of transition before college. I plan to take Business Management or Accountancy. I'm leaning more on the latter one. But I also plan going to law school after being a CPA.

I climbed out of my car after I parked it on an empty slot at the parking lot outside the cafeteria here in Serquiza. I headed straight to the classroom even though there's still half an hour of vacant time. My friends immediately dragged me to my table and made me sit on my chair. I stared at them with a puzzled expression on my face.

"What's the tea, sisters?" I asked. Sia looks really excited and I don't get why she is.

"May manliligaw ulit si Zara!" Nadya exclaimed. She's even the one who's excited for her. Zara hid her face in her palms. I'm still confused. Zara Saule Delafuente is my friend who easily gains a lot of suitors.

"And it's not just anyone," Nueve added. Seeing her also interested in this one really makes me curious as to who is Zara's new suitor.

"It's Jared," Zara said calmly while the other three can't help but squeal and giggle, making everyone's attention to us. I hid my face. "Hindi ko kayo kilala, I swear." Even Zara is embarrassed of how they're acting.

"Jared is kinda serious when it comes to relationships," I said. I know Jared since he's a friend of Aros. They're both idiots. He's another fun company. "He'll be good." They smiled to my approval.

"Sinabi na ba sayo ni Nadya?" Tanong ni Sia. My forehead creased.

"She has a new fubu," Nueve said boredly. "What's new?" I chuckled at the remark.

"Well, for starters, it's just Wayde Callejo," Zara said which made me arch a brow. Wayde Callejo is STEM 11's heartthrob. Wow. Nadya Ivetta Zermeno never fails to seduce anyone she wants. I won't be surprised to learn if Wayde is the one who flirted first.

"Enough about Zara and I," Nadya interrupted. "Our topic should be Sia and Nueve." Sia looked at her with a puzzled expression while Nueve kept a straight face.

"Nueve is assisting the SC every detention," Sia said. Ilona Ninelle Amor or Nueve as we call her, is a darn troublemaker and she often gets into detention, only this time it's different.

"It sucks," Nueve simply said. "Well, I'm not the one who's going to detention for PDA." Nueve turned to me then pointed at Sia. "She is." I almost gaped in awe. What the fuck?

"Wala kang jowa, diba?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes on me.

"Dean suddenly just pulled me and kissed me in front of his girlfriend to break up with her because he said she was being too possessive of him," Sia told us with an annoyed tone. Sounds like something you'll only experience in Wattpad stories, like what's happening to me right now. God, I just smile to the memory.

"Won't Ariel hate you for that?" Zara asked. Sia shrugged. Anisia Venera Yanes is just that bitch who is fucking kind and doesn't give a damn about anyone unless it involves us.

"Ariel can try," Nueve said calmly while checking out her rings. That hurts if ever she punches anyone. I smiled to myself. I love my friends so much.

We gossiped about the hottest issue between a couple and a third party who are from our strand. We gathered more information about it when other girls joined our conversation.
