Venus and Clover were sat downstairs watching a film whilst Josh and Jaden were upstairs gaming. Venus sat with her legs crossed on the couch and a bowl of popcorn sat inbetween.

"so did you and josh have fun at the mall?" Clover asked Venus taking some popcorn from the bowl.

"yea it was fun" Venus replied her eyes still glued to the tv.

"you know i ship you guys" Clover said with a smirk on her face.

"what? we only met the other day" Venus blushed staring at Clover in shock.

"it's like you're meant to be, you get your heart broken and then Josh suddenly appears in your life"

Venus thought back to that night, she was so hurt and couldn't believe she had been hurt this much by someone again. she promised herself she wasn't going to let it happen again. She remembered the wish she made upon the shooting star that night. What if Clover was right and Venus and josh were meant to be.

'that's crazy it's obviously not true' Venus thought shaking the idea out of her head. She had only just met josh and wasnt really looking for another relationship either.

3 months later
(i decided to skip 3 months sorry i didn't know what to write)

Venus jumped at the sound of her phone ringing. she rummaged through her messy room trying to find it. she throw a pile of clothes across the room finding the phone laying underneath. she picked it up answering it.

as she did she saw josh's smiley face and the other end of the phone.

"heyy" he said.

"heyy" Venus replied standing her phone against her windowsill.

"what you up to?" Josh asked taking a sip of his water.

"tidying, i can barely see the floor" venus giggled causing josh to laugh.

"you and clover should come back to sway" (ik josh and jaden left sway but act like they didn't)

"i know, we've just got so much college work, maybe in the holidays"

"i'll be looking forward to it"

Venus and Josh talked for hours until it started getting late.

"i'll speak to you tomorrow"

"bye Venus"

"bye josh"

Venus hung up the phone smiling before getting into bed and drifting off to sleep. Her and Josh had gotten closer over the last few months and they were becoming really good friends. Clover kept shipping the but Venus shook it off because she didn't know how she felt about josh and even if she did like josh, josh would never like her back.

Venus woke up the next morning rubbing her eyes before sitting up.
"crap" she said looking at her room realising she forgot to clean it. she sighed and went downstairs walking towards the kitchen.

"good morning" clover chirped as she saw Venus walking into the kitchen, she turned back to the stove using a spatula to flip she pancake she was making.

"morning" venus replied sitting at the island in the middle of the kitchen. 

"i heard you talking to josh last night" clover winked as she placed the pancake and a plate and passed it to Venus.

"omg will you stopped, we're just friends thats it"

Josh used a towel to dry his freshly washed hair before getting changed and heading downstairs.

"so who were you talking to last night?" jaden asked as josh sat on the couch next time him.

"Venus" josh replied

"oooo" jaden and bryce both said in sync.

"shut up. we're just friends"
